3 Og King of Baſhán is slaine. 11 The bignes of his bed. 18 The Reubenites and Gadites are commanded to go ouer Iordén armed before their brethren. 21 Ioſhua is made captaine. 27 Moſes is permitted to ſe the land, but not to enter, albeit he deſired it.
4.And we toke all his cities the ſame time, nether was there a citie which we toke not from them, euen thre ſcore cities, and all the countrey of Argób, the kingdome of Og in Baſhán.
7.But all the cattel and the ſpoile of the cities we toke for our ſelues.
8.Thus we toke at that time out of the hād of two Kings of the Amorites, the land that was on this ſide Iordén from the riuer of Arnón vnto mount Hermón:
9.(Which Hermón the Sidoniās call Shirión, but the Amorites call it Shenír)
10.All the cities of the plaine and all Gileád, and all Baſhán vnto Salcháh, and Edréi, cities of the kingdome of Og in Baſhán.
13.And the reſt of Gileád, and all Baſhán, the kingdome of Og, gaue I vnto the half tribe of Manaſſéh: euen all the coūtrey of Argób with all Baſhán, which is called, The land of gyantes.
15.And I gaue parte of Gileád vnto Machír.
19.Your wiues onelie, & your chiidren, & your cattel (for I knowe yͭ ye haue muche cattel) ſhal abide in your cities, which I haue giuen you,
22.Ye ſhal not feare thē: for the Lord your God, he ſhal fight for you.
23.And I beſoght the Lord the ſame time, ſaying,
26.But ye Lord was angry with me for your ſakes, and wolde not heare me: and ye Lord ſaid vnto me, Let it ſuffice thee, ſpeake no more vnto me of this matter.
28.But charge Ioſhúa, and incourage him, and bolden him: for he ſhal go before this people, and he ſhal deuide for inheritance vnto them, the land which thou ſhalt ſe.
29.So we abode in the valley ouer againſt Beth-Peór.
