Deuteronomy 10

The ſeconde tables put in the Arke. 8 The tribe of Leui is dedicate to the ſeruice of the Tabernacle. 12 What the Lord requireth of him. 16 The circumciſion of the heart. 17 God regardeth not the perſone. 21 The Lord is the praiſe of Iſraél.
.IN the ſame time the Lord ſaid vnto me, * Hewe thee two Tables of ſtone lyke vnto the firſt, and come vp vnto me into the Mount, and make thee an Arke of wood,
.And I wil write vpon yͤ Tables the wordes that were vpon the firſt Tables, which thou brakeſt, and thou ſhalt put them in the Arke.
.And I made an Arke of a ſhittím wood, and hewed two Tables of ſtone like vnto the firſt, and went vp into the Mountaine, and the two Tables in mine hand.
.Then he wrote vpon the Tables according to the firſt writing (the ten commandements, which the Lord ſpake vnto you in the Mount out of the middes of the fire, in the daye of the b aſſemblie) and the Lord gaue them vnto me.
.And I departed, and came downe frõ the Mount, & put the Tables in yͤ Arke which I had made: and there thei be, as the Lord commanded me.
.¶ And the children of Iſraél toke their iourney from Beeróth of the children of Iaakán to c Moſerá, where Aarón dyed, & was buryed, and Eleazár his ſonne became Prieſt in his ſteade.
.¶ From thence thei departed vnto Gudgojáh, and from Gudgojáh to Iotbáth a land of running waters.
.¶ The ſame time the Lord ſeparated the tribe of Leuí to beare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, and to ſtand before the Lord, to d miniſter vnto him, and to bleſſe in his Name vnto this day.
.Wherefore Leuí hathe no parte nor inheritance with his brethren: for the Lord is his e inheritance, as the Lord thy God hathe promiſed him.
.And I taried in the Mount, as at the firſt time, fortie daies and fortie nights, and the Lord heard me at that time alſo, and the Lord wolde not deſtroye thee.
.But the Lord ſaid vnto me, Ariſe, go forthe in the iourney before the people, that thei may go in and poſſeſſe the land, which I ſware vnto their fathers to giue vnto them.
.¶ And now, Iſraél, what doeth the Lord thy God f require of thee, but to feare the Lord thy God, to walke in all his waies, and to loue him, and to ſerue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy ſoule?
.That thou kepe the commandements of the Lord, and his ordinances, which I commande thee this day, for thy welth?
.Beholde, heauen, and the heauen of heauens is the Lords thy God, and the earth, with all that therein is.
.Notwithſtanding, the Lord ſet his delite in thy fathers to loue them, and dyd choſe their ſede after them, euen you aboue all people, as appeareth this day.
.h Circumciſe therefore the foreſkin of your heart, and harden your neks no more.
.For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, mightie, & terrible, which accepteth no * perſones nor taketh rewarde:
.Who doeth right vnto the fatherles and widowe, and loueth the ſtranger, giuing him fode and rayment.
.Loue ye therefore the ſtranger: for ye were ſtrangers in the land of Egypt.
.* Thou ſhalt feare the Lord thy God: thou ſhalt ſerue him, and thou ſhalt cleaue vnto him, and i ſhalt ſweare by his Name.
.He is thy praiſe, and he is thy God, that hathe done for thee theſe great and terrible things, which thine eyes haue ſene.
.Thy fathers went downe into Egypt * with ſeuentie perſones, & now the Lord thy God hathe made thee, as the * ſtarres of the heauen in multitude.
