2 The lawe of the conſecraciō of the Nazarites. 24 The maner to bleſſe the people.
1.ANd the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto the children of Iſraél, and ſay vnto them, When a man or a woman doeth ſeparate thē ſelues to vowe a vowe of a a Nazarite to ſeparate him ſelfe vnto the Lord,
3.He ſhal abſteine frō wine & ſtrōg drinke, and ſhal drinke no ſowre wine nor ſowre drinke, nor ſhal drinke anie licour of grapes, nether ſhal eat freſh grapes nor dried.
4.As long as his abſtinēce endureth, ſhal he eat nothing yt is made of the wine of ye vine, nether the kernels, nor the huſke.
5.While he is ſeparate by his vowe, the * raſure ſhal not come vpō his head; vntil the dayes be out, in the which he ſeparateth him ſelfe vnto the Lord, he ſhalbe holie, and ſhal let the lockes of the heere of his head growe.
6.During the time that he ſeparateth him ſelfe vnto the Lord, he ſhal come at no b dead body:
7.He ſhal not make him ſelfe vncleane at the death of his father, or mother, brother, or ſiſter: for the conſecracion of his God is vpon c his head.
8.All the dayes of his ſeparacion he ſhalbe holy to the Lord.
9.And if anie dye ſodēly by him, or he beware, then the d head of his conſecracion ſhalbe defiled, and he ſhal ſhaue his head in the day of his clenſing: in the ſeuenth day he ſhal ſhaue it.
10.And in the eight day he ſhal bring two turtles, or two yong pigeōs to the Prieſt, at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Cōgregacion.
11.Then the Prieſt ſhal prepare the one for a ſin offring, and the other for a burnt offring, & ſhal make an atonemēt for him, becauſe he ſinned by e the dead: ſo ſhal he halowe his head the ſame day,
12.And he ſhal f conſecrate vnto the Lord the daies of his ſeparacion, and ſhal bring a lambe of a yere olde for a treſpas offring, and the firſt daies ſhalbe voyde: for his g conſecracion was defiled.
13.¶ This then is the lawe of the Nazarite: When the time of his conſecracion is out, he ſhal come to the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion,
14.And he ſhal bring his offring vnto the Lord, an he lambe of a yere olde without blemiſh for a burnt offring, and a ſhe lābe of a yere olde without blemiſh for a ſin offring, and a ram without blemiſh for peace offrings,
15.And a baſket of vnleauened bread, of * cakes of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and wafers of vnleauened bread anointed with oyle, with their meat offring, and their drinke offrings:
16.The which the Prieſt ſhal bring before the Lord, and make his ſin offring and his burnt offring.
17.He ſhal prepare alſo the ram for a peace offring vnto the Lord, with the baſket of vnleauened bread, and the Prieſt ſhal make his meat offring, and his drinke offring.
18.And ye Nazarite ſhal ſhaue the head * h of his conſecraciō at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, and ſhal take the heere of the head of his conſecracion, and put it in the fire, which is vnder the i peace offring.
19.Then the Prieſt ſhal take the ſodē ſhulder of the ram, and an vnleauened cake out of the baſket, & a wafer vnleauened, and put them vpon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hathe ſhaued his cōſecraciō.
20.And the Prieſt ſhal * ſhake them to and ſo before the Lord: this is an holy thing for the Prieſt " beſides the ſhaken breaſt, & beſides the heaue ſhulder: ſo afterward the Nazarite may drinke wine.
21.This is the lawe of the Nazarite, which he hathe vowed, and of his offring vnto the Lord for his conſecracion, k beſides that that he is able to bring: according to the vowe which he vowed, ſo ſhal he do after the lawe of his conſecracion.
22.¶ And ye Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
23.Speake vnto Aarón and to his ſonnes, ſaying, Thus ſhal ye l bleſſe the children of Iſraél, and ſay vnto them,
24.The Lord bleſſe thee, and kepe thee,
25.The Lord make his face ſhine vpo n thee, and be merciful vnto thee,
26.The Lord lift vp his countenance vpon thee, and giue thee peace.
27.So they ſhal put my m Name vpon the children of Iſraél, and I wil bleſſe them.
