5.Wherefore now haue ye made vs to come vp frõ Egypt, to bring vs into this miſerable place, which is no place of ſede, nor figs, nor vines, nor pomgranates? nether is there anie water to drinke.
6.Then Moſés and Aarón went from the aſſemblie vnto the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, and fel vpon their faces: and the glorie of the Lord appeared vnto them.
7.¶ And ye Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
9.Then Moſés toke the rod frõ before the Lord, as he had commanded him.
11.Then Moſés lift vp his hand, and with his rod he ſmote the rocke twiſe, and the water came out abundantly : ſo the Congregacion, and their beaſts dranke.
15.How our fathers went downe into E- gypt, and we dwelt in Egypt a long time, where the Egyptians handled vs euil & our fathers.
16.But when we cryed vnto the Lord, he he- ard our voyce, and ſent an Angel, & hathe broght vs out of Egypt, & beholde, we are in yͤ citie Kadéſh, in thine vtmoſt border.
19.Then the children of Iſraél ſaid vnto him, We wil go vp by the hie way: & if I and my cattel drinke of thy water, I wil then paye for it: I wil onely (without anie harme) go through on my fete.
23.And the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés and to Aarón in the mount Hor nere the coſte of the land of Edóm, ſaying,
26.And cauſe Aarón to put of his garmēts & put them vpon Eleazár his ſonne: for Aarón ſhal be gathered to his fathers, and ſhal dye there.
27.And Moſés did as the Lord had commā- ded: & they went vp into the mount Hor, in the ſight of all the Congregacion.
