1 The office of Aarón & his ſonnes. 2 With the Leuites 8 The Prieſts parte of the offrings 20 God is their portion 26 The Leuites haue the tithes, and offer the tenthes thereof to the Lord.

1.ANd yͤ Lord ſaid vnto Aarón, Thou, & thy ſonnes and thy fathers houſe with thee, ſhal beare ^a the iniquitie of the Sanctuarie : bothe thou & thy ſonnes with thee ſhal beare yͤ iniquitie of your Prieſts office.

2.And bring alſo with thee thy brethren of the tribe of Leui of the familie of thy father, which ſhalbe ioyned with thee, and miniſter vnto thee: but thou, and thy ſonnes with thee ſhal miniſter before the Tabernacle of the Teſtimonie.

3.And they ſhal ^b kepe thy charge, euen the charge of all yͤ Tabernacle: but they ſhal not come nere the inſtruments of the Sāctuarie, nor to the altar, leſt they dye, bothe they & you:

4.And they ſhal be ioyned with thee, & kepe the charge of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion for all yͤ ſeruice of the Tabernacle: & no ^c ſtranger ſhal come nere vnto you.

5.Therefore ſhal ye kepe the charge of the Sanctuarie, and the charge of the altar: ſo there ſhal fall no more wrath vpon the children of Iſraél.

6.For lo, I haue ^* taken your brethren yͤ Leuites frō among yͤ children of Iſraél, which as a gift of yours, are giué vnto the Lord, to do the ſeruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion.

7.But thou, & thy ſonnes with thee ſhal kepe your Prieſts office for all things of the altar, and within the vaile: therefore ſhal ye ſerue: for I haue made your Prieſts office ^* an office of ſeruice: therefore the ſtrāger that commeth nere, ſhal be ſlaine.

8.¶ Againe yͤ Lord ſpake vnto Aarón, Beholde, I haue giuen thee the keping of mine ^d offrings, of all the halowed things of the childrē of Iſraél: vnto thee I haue giuen them for the anointings ſake, and to thy ſonnes, for a perpetual ordinance.

9.This ſhalbe thine of yͤ moſte holie thīgs, reſerued from the ^e fire: all their offring of all their meat offring, and of all their ſin offring, and of all their treſpas offring, wͨ they bring vnto me, that ſhalbe moſt holy vnto thee and to thy ſonnes.

10.In the moſt ^f holy place ſhalt thou eat it: euerie male ſhal eat of it: it is holy vnto thee.

11.This alſo ſhalbe thine: the heaue offring of their gift, with all the ſhake offrings of the children of Iſraél: I haue giuen them vnto thee & to thy ſonnes & to thy daughters w^t thee, to be a duetie for euer: all the cleane in thine houſe ſhal eat of it.

12.All the ^h fat of the oyle, and all the fat of the wine, and of the wheat, which they ſhal offer vnto the Lord for their firſt frutes, I haue giuen them vnto thee.

13.And the firſt ripe of all that is in their lãd, which they ſhal bring vnto the Lord, ſhalbe thine: all the cleane in thine houſe ſhal eat of it.

14.^* Euerie thing ſeparate from the cõmune vſe in Iſraél, ſhal be thine.

15.All that firſt openeth the ^* matrice of anie fleſh, which they ſhal offer vnto the Lord, of man or beaſt, ſhalbe thine: but the firſt borne of man ſhalt thou redeme, and the firſt borne of the vncleane beaſt ſhalt thou redeme.

16.And thoſe that are to be redemed, ſhalt yͧ redeme from the age of a moneth, according to thy eſtimation, for the money of fiue ſhekels, after the ſhekel of the Sanctuarie, ^* which is twentie gerahs.

17.But the firſt borne of a kowe, or the firſt borne of a ſhepe, or the firſt borne of a goat ſhalt thou not ⁱ redeme: for they are holy: thou ſhalt ſprinkle their blood at the altar, and thou ſhalt burne theyr fat: it is a ſacrifice made by fire for a ſwete ſauour vnto the Lord.

18.And the fleſh of them ſhalbe thine, ^* as the ſhake breaſt, and as the right ſhulder ſhalbe thine.

19.All the heaue offrings of the holy things which the children of Iſraél ſhal offer vnto the Lord, haue I giuen thee, & thy ſonnes, and thy daughters with thee, to be a duetie for euer: it is a perpetual couenant ^k of ſalt before the Lord, to thee and to thy ſede with thee.

20.¶And the Lord ſaid vnto Aarón, Thou ſhalt haue none inheritance in their ^l land, nether ſhalt thou haue anie parte among them: ^* I am thy parte & thine inheritance among the children of Iſraél.

21.For beholde, I haue giuẽ the childrẽ of Leuí all the tenth in Iſraél for an inheritance, for their ſeruice which they ſerue in the Tabernacle of the Congregacion.

22.Nether ſhal the children of Iſraél anie more ^m come nere yͧ Tabernacle of the Cõgregacion, leſt they ſuſteine ſinne, & dye.

23.But the Leuites ſhal do the ſeruice in yͧ Tabernacle of yͧ Cõgregaciõ, & they ſhal beare ⁿ their ſinne: it is a lawe for euer in your generacions, yͭ among the childrẽ of Iſraél they poſſeſſe none enheritance.

24.For the tithes of the children of Iſraél, which they ſhal offer as an offring vnto yͧ Lord, I haue giuen the Leuites for an inheritance: therefore I haue ſaid vnto thẽ, Among the childrẽ of Iſraél ye ſhal poſſeſſe none inheritance.

25.¶And yͧ Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſayĩg,

26.Speake alſo vnto the Leuites & ſay vnto them, When ye ſhal take of the childrẽ of Iſraél the tithes, wͨ I haue giuen you of thẽ for your inheritance, then ſhal ye take an heaue offring of that ſame for the Lord, euen the tenth parte of the tithe.

27.And your heaue offrĩg ſhalbe rekened vnto you, as the ^o corne of the barne, or as the abundance of the wine preſſe.

28.So ye ſhal alſo offer an heaue offring vnto the Lord of all your tithes, which ye ſhal receiue of the children of Iſraél, and ye ſhal giue thereof the Lords heaue offring to Aarón the Prieſt.

29.Ye ſhal offer of all your ^p gifts all the Lords heaue offrings: of all yͧ ^q fat of the ſame ſhal ye offer the holy things thereof.

30.Therefore thou ſhalt ſay vnto thẽ, Whẽ ye haue offred the fat thereof, then it ſhalbe counted vnto the Leuites, as the encreaſe of the corne floore, or as yͧ encreaſe of the wine preſſe.

31.And ye ſhal eat it in all ^r places, ye, and your houſholds: for it is your wages for your ſeruice in the Tabernacle of the Cõgregacion.

32.And ye ſhal ^s beare no ſinne by the reaſon of it, when ye haue offred the fat of it: nether ſhal ye pollute the holy ^t things of the children of Iſraél, leſt ye dye.
