Leviticus 13

2 What conſiderations the Prieſt oght to obſerue in iudging the leproſie. 29 The blacke ſpot or ſkab. 47 and the leprie of the garment.
1.MOreouer the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, and to Aarón, ſaying,
2.The man that ſhal haue in the ſkin of his fleſh a ſwelling or a ſkab, or a white ſpot, ſo that in the ſkin of his fleſh it be like ye a plague of leproſie, then he ſhalbe broght vnto Aarón the Prieſt, or vnto one of his ſonnes the Prieſts,
3.And the Prieſt ſhal loke on the ſore in the ſkin of his fleſh: if the heere in the ſore be turned into white, and the ſore fe- me to be b lower thẽ the ſkin of his fleſh, it is a plague of leproſie : therefore the Prieſt ſhal loke on him, and " pronounce him vncleane
4.But if the white ſpot be in yͤ ſkin of his fleſh, and ſeme not to be lower then the ſkin, nor the heere thereof be turned vnto white, then the Prieſt ſhal ſhut vp * him that hathe * the plague, ſeuen daies.
5.After, the Prieſt ſhal loke vpon him the ſeuenth day : & if the plague ſeme " to him to abide ſtil, and the plague growe not in the ſkin, the Prieſt ſhal ſhut him vp yet ſeuen daies more.
6.Then the Prieſt ſhal loke on him againe the ſeuenth day, and if the plague c be darcke, and the fore growe not in the ſkin, then the Prieſt ſhal " pronoũce him cleane, * for * it * is * a ſkab : therefore he ſhal waſh his clothes, and be cleane.
7.But if the ſkab growe more in the ſkin, after that he is ſene of the Prieſt, for to be purged, he ſhalbe ſene of the Prieſt yet againe.
8.Then the Prieſt ſhal conſider, and if the ſkab " growe in the ſkin, then the Prieſt ſhal pronounce him d vncleane : * for * it * is * leproſie.
9.¶ When the plague of leproſie is in a man, he ſhalbe broght vnto the Prieſt,
10.And the Prieſt ſhal ſe * him * : & if the ſwelling be white in the ſkin, & haue made yͤ heere white, & there be rawe fleſh in the ſwelling,
11.It * is * an olde leproſie in the ſkin of his fleſh : and the Prieſt ſhal pronounce him vncleane, and ſhal not ſhut him vp, for he is vncleane.
12.Alſo if the leproſie " breake out in the ſkin, and the leproſie couer all the ſkin of the plague, from his head euen to his fete, whereſoeuer the Prieſt loketh,
13.Then the Prieſt ſhal conſider : and if the leproſie couer all his fleſh, he ſhal pronoũce yͤ plague to be e cleane, becauſe it is all turned into whitenes : * ſo * he ſhalbe cleane.
14.But * if * there be rawe fleſh on him when he is ſene, he ſhalbe vncleane.
15.For the Prieſt ſhal ſe the rawe fleſh, and declare him to be vncleane : * for * the rawe fleſh is f vncleane, * therefore * it * is * the leproſie.
16.Or if the rawe fleſh change and be turned into white, then he ſhal come to the Prieſt,
17.And the Prieſt ſhal beholde him : and if the ſore be changed into white, then the Prieſt ſhal pronoũce the plague cleane, * for * it * is * cleane.
18.¶ The fleſh alſo in whoſe ſkin there is " a bile and is healed,
19.And in the place of the bile there be a white ſwelling, or a white ſpot ſomewhat reddiſh, it ſhalbe ſene of the Prieſt.
20.And whẽ the Prieſt ſeeth it, if it appeare lower then the ſkin, and the heere thereof be changed into white, the Prieſt thẽ ſhal pronounce him g vncleane : * for * it * is * a plague of leproſie, broken out in the bile.
21.But if the Prieſt loke on it and there be no white heeres therein, & if it be not lower then the ſkin, but be darcker, then the Prieſt ſhal ſhut him vp ſeuen daies.
22.And if it ſpread abroade in the fleſh, the Prieſt ſhal pronounce him vncleane, * for * it is a ſore.
23.But if the ſpot continue in his place, & growe not, it * is * a burning bile : therefore the Prieſt ſhal declare him to be cleane.
24.¶ If there be anie fleſh, in whoſe ſkin there is an hote burning, and the quicke fleſh of the burning haue a h white ſpot, ſomewhat reddiſh or pale,
25.Then the Prieſt ſhal loke vpon it : and if the heere in that ſpot be chãged into white, and it appeare lower then the ſkin, it * is * a leproſie broké out in the burning : therefore the Prieſt ſhal pronoũce him vncleane : * for * it * is * the plague of leproſie.
26.But if the Prieſt loke on it, and there be no white heere in the ſpot, and be no lower thẽ the * other * ſkin, but be darcker, then the Prieſt ſhal ſhut him vp ſeuen daies.
27.After, the Prieſt ſhal loke on him the ſeuenth day : if it be growen abroade in the ſkinne, then the Prieſt ſhal pronoũce him vncleane : * for * it * is * the plague of leproſie.
28.And if the ſpot abide in his place, not growing in the ſkin, but is darcke, it * is * a " riſing of the burning : the Prieſt ſhal therefore declare him cleane, for it * is * the drying vp of the burning.
29.¶ If alſo a man or woman hathe a ſore on the head or in the beard,
30.Then the Prieſt ſhal ſe the ſore : and if it appeare lower then the ſkin, and there be in it a ſmale yelowe i heere, then the Prieſt ſhal pronounce him vncleane : * for * it * is * a blacke ſpot, and leproſie of the head or of the beard.
31.And if the Prieſt loke on the ſore of the blacke ſpot, and if it ſeme not lower then yͤ ſkin nor haue anie blacke heere in it, thẽ the Prieſt ſhal ſhut vp * him, that hathe * the ſore of the blacke ſpot, ſeuen daies.
32.After, in the ſeuenth day the Prieſt ſhal loke on the ſore : and if yͤ blacke ſpot growe not, & there be in it no yelowe heere, and the blacke ſpot ſeme not lower then the ſkin,
33.Then he ſhalbe ſhauen, but * the place of * yͤ blacke ſpot ſhal he not ſhaue : but yͤ Prieſt ſhal ſhut vp * him, that hathe * the blacke ſpot, ſeuen daies more.
34.And the ſeuenth day the Prieſt ſhal loke on the blacke ſpot : and if the blacke ſpot growe not in the ſkin, nor ſeme lower thẽ the other ſkin, then ye Prieſt ſhal clẽſe him, & he ſhal waſh his clothes, and be cleane.
35.But if the blacke ſpot growe abroade in the fleſh after his clenſing,
36.Then the Prieſt ſhal loke on it: and if the blacke ſpot growe in the ſkin, ye Prieſt ſhal not k ſeke for the yelowe heere: for he is vncleane.
37.But if the blacke ſpot ſeme to him to abide, and that blacke heere growe therein, the blacke ſpot is healed, he is cleane, and the Prieſt ſhal declare him to be cleane.
38.¶Furthermore if there be manie white ſpots in ye ſkin of ye fleſh of man or womã,
39.Then the Prieſt ſhal cõſider: and if the ſpots in the ſkin of their fleſh be ſome-what darcke and white withall, it is but a white ſpot broken out in the ſkin: there-fore he is cleane.
40.And the man whoſe heere is fallen of his head and is balde, is cleane.
41.And if his head cloſe the l heere on the fore parte, & be balde before, he is cleane.
42.But if there be in the balde head, or in the balde fore head a white reddiſh ſore, it is a leproſie ſpringig in his balde head, or in his balde forehead.
43.Therefore the Prieſt ſhal loke vpon it, and if the riſing of the ſore be white red-diſh in his balde head, or in his balde fo-re head, appearing like leproſie in the ſkin of the fleſh,
44.He is a leper and vncleane: therefore the Prieſt ſhal pronounce him altogether vn-cleane: for the ſore is in his head.
45.The leper alſo in whome the plague is, ſhal haue his clothes m rent, and his head bare, and ſhal put a couering vpõ his n lip pes, and ſhal crye, I am vncleane, I am vn-cleane.
46.As long as the diſeaſe ſhalbe vpon him, he ſhalbe polluted, for he is vncleane: he ſhal dwel alone, * without the campe ſhal his habitacion be.
47.¶Alſo the garmẽt that the plague of le-proſie is in, whether it be a wollen gar-ment or a linen garment,
48.Whether it be in the warpe or in the woofe of linen or of wollen, ether in a ſkin or in anie thing made of ſkin,
49.And if the ſore be grene or ſomewhat reddiſh in the garment or in the ſkin, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in anie o thig that is made of ſkin, it is a plague of leproſie & ſhalbe ſhewed vnto the Prieſt.
50.Then the Prieſt ſhal ſe the plague, and ſhut vp it that hathe the plague, ſeuẽ daies,
51.And ſhal loke on the plague the ſeuenth day: if the plague growe in the garment or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in the ſkin or in anie thing that is made of ſkin, that plague is a freating leproſie and vn-cleane.
52.And he ſhal burne the garment, or the warpe, or the woofe, whether it be wollen or linen, or anie thing that is made of ſkin, wherein the plague is: for it is a frea-ting leproſie, therefore it ſhalbe burnt in the fire.
53.If the Prieſt yet ſe that the plague p gro-we not in the garment, or in the woofe, or in whatſoeuer thing of ſkin it be,
54.Then the Prieſt ſhal commãde them to waſh the thing wherein the plague is, & he ſhal ſhut it vp ſeuen dayes more.
55.Againe the Prieſt ſhal loke on the pla-gue, after it is waſhed: and if the plague haue not changed his q colour, thogh the plague ſpred no further, it is vncleane: thou ſhalt burne it in ye fire, for it is a freat inwarde, r whether the ſpot be in the bare place of the whole, or in parte thereof.
56.And if the Prieſt ſe that the plague be darcker, after that it is waſhed, he ſhal cut it out of the garment, or out of the ſkin, or out of the warpe, or out of the woofe.
57.And if it appeare ſtil in the garment or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in anie thing made of ſkin, it is a ſpreading leproſie: thou ſhalt burne the thing wherein the plague is, in the fire.
58.If thou haſt waſhed the garment or the warpe, or ye woofe, or whatſoeuer thing of ſkin it be, if the plague be departed there-from, then ſhal it be waſhed [ſ] the ſeconde time, and be cleane.
59.This is the lawe of the plague of lepro-ſie in a garment of wollen or linen, or in the warpe, or in the woofe, or in anie thing of ſkin, to make it cleane or vncleane.
