Leviticus 12

1 A lawe how women ſhulde be purged after their deliuerance.
1.ANd the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto the children of Iſraél, and ſay, When a woman hathe broght forthe ſede, and borne a manchilde, ſhe ſhal be vncleane a ſeuē daies, like "as ſhe is vncleane whē ſhe is put a parte for her " diſeaſe.
3.( *Luk 2,21.">* And in the eight day the foreſkin of the childes fleſh ſhalbe circumciſed)
4.And ſhe ſhal continue in the blood of her purifying thre b and thirty daies: ſhe ſhal touche no c halowed thing, nor come in to the d Sanctuarie, vntil the time of her purifying be out.
5.But if ſhe beare a maide childe, then ſhe ſhalbe vncleane two e wekes, as when ſhe hathe her diſeaſe: and ſhe ſhal continue in the blood of her purifying thre ſcore and ſix daies.
6.Now when the daies of her purifying are out, (whether it be for a ſonne, or for a daughter) ſhe ſhal bring to the Prieſt a lambe of one yere olde for a burnt offring, and a yong pigeon or a turtle doue for a ſin offring, vnto ye dore of the f Tabernacle of the Congregacion,
7.Who ſhal offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her: ſo ſhe ſhalbe purged of the iſſue of her blood this is ye lawe for her yt hathe borne a male or female.
8.But if ſhe " be not able to bring a lābe, ſhe ſhal bring two * turtles, or two yong pigeons: the one for a burnt offring, and the other for a ſin offring: and the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for her: ſo ſhe ſhalbe cleane.
