Leviticus 14

3 The clenſing of the leper. 34 And of the houſe that he is in.
1.ANd the Lord ſpake vnto Moſes, ſaying,
2.* This is the a lawe of the leper in the day of his clenſing: that is, he ſhalbe broght vnto the Prieſt,
3.And the Prieſt ſhal go out of the campe, and the Prieſt ſhal conſider him: and if the plague of leproſie be healed in the leper,
4.Then ſhal the Prieſt commande to take for him that is clenſed, two " ſparowes ali-ue and b cleane, and ceder wood and a ſkarlet lace, and hyſſope.
5.And the Prieſt ſhal commande to kil one of the birdes ouer c pure water in an earthen veſſel.
6.After, he ſhal take the liue ſparowe with the cedar wood, and the ſkarlet lace, and the hyſſope, and ſhal dip them and the li-uing ſparowe in the blood of the ſparowe ſlaine, ouer the pure water,
7.And he ſhal ſprinkle vpon him, that muſt be clenſed of his leproſie, ſeuen times, and clenſe clenſe him, and ſhal d let go the liue ſparowe into the broade field.
8.Then he that ſhalbe clenſed, ſhal waſh his clothes, and ſhaue of all his heere, and waſh him ſelfe in water, ſo he ſhalbe cleane: after that ſhal he come into the hoſte, but ſhal tarie without his tent ſeuen dayes.
9.So in the ſeuenth day he ſhal ſhaue of all his heere, bothe his head, and his beard, & his eye browes: euen all his heere ſhal he ſhaue, & ſhal waſh his clothes & ſhal waſh his fleſh in water. ſo he ſhalbe cleane.
10.Then in the eight day he ſhal take two he lambes without e blemiſh, and an ewe lambe of an yere olde without blemiſh, and three tenth deales of fine floure for a meat offring, mingled with oyle, f and a pinte of oyle.
11.And the Prieſt that maketh him cleane ſhal bring the man which is to be made cleane, and thoſe things, before the Lord, at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Cógregacion.
12.Then the Prieſt ſhal take one lambe, & offer him for a treſpaſſe offring, and the pinte of oyle, and * ſhake them to and fro before the Lord.
13.And he ſhal kil the lambe in the place where the ſinne offring and the burnt offring are ſlaine, euen in the holy place: for as the * ſin offring is the Prieſts, ſo is the treſpaſſe offring: for it is moſte holy.
14.So the Prieſt ſhal take of the blood of the treſpaſſe offring, and put it vpon the lap of the right eare of him that ſhalbe clenſed, and vpon the thumbe of his right hand, and vpon the great toe of his right fote.
15.The Prieſt ſhal alſo take of the pinte of oyle, and powre it into the palme of his left hand,
16.And the Prieſt ſhal dip his " right finger in the oyle that is in his left hád, & ſprinkle of the oyle with his finger ſeuen times before the Lord.
17.And of the reſt of the oyle that is in his hand, ſhal the Prieſt put vpon the lap of the right eare of him that is to be clenſed, & vpon the thumbe of his right hand, and vpon the great toe of his right fote, " where the blood of the treſpas offring was put.
18.But the remnant of the oyle that is in the Prieſtes hand, he ſhal powre vpon the head of him that is to be clenſed: ſo the Prieſt ſhal make an atonemét for him before the Lord.
19.And the Prieſt ſhal offer the ſin offring and make an atonement for him that is to be clenſed of his vnclennes: thé after ſhal he kil the burnt offring.
20.So the Prieſt ſhal offer the burnt offring & the meat offring vpon the altar: and the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for him: ſo he ſhalbe cleane.
21.But if he be poore, & " not able, then he ſhal bring one lábe for a treſpas offring to be ſhaké, for his recóciliation, & a g tenth deale of fine floure mingled with oyle, for a meat offring, with a pinte of oyle.
22.Alſo two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons, as he is able, whereof the one ſhalbe a ſin offring, and the other a burnt offring,
23.And he ſhal bring them the eight day for his clenſing vnto the Prieſt at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion before the Lord.
24.Then the Prieſt ſhal take the lambe of the treſpas offring, and the pinte of oyle, and the Prieſt ſhal h ſhake them to and fro before the Lord.
25.And he ſhal kil the lambe of the treſpas offring, & the Prieſt ſhal take of ye blood of the treſpas offring, and put it vpon the lap of his right eare that is to be clenſed, and vpon the thumbe of his right hand, & vpon the great toe of his right fote.
26.Alſo the Prieſt ſhal powre of the oyle into the palme of his owne " left hand.
27.So the Prieſt ſhal with his right finger ſprinkle of the oyle that is in his left hand, ſeuen times before the Lord.
28.Then the Prieſt ſhal put of the oyle that is in his hand, vpon the lap of the right eare of him that is to be clenſed, and vpon the thumbe of his right hand, and vpon the great toe of his right fote: vpon the place " of the blood of the treſpas offring.
29.But yt reſt of the oyle that is in ye Prieſts hád, he ſhal put vpon the head of him that is to be clenſed, to make an atonement for him before the Lord.
30.Alſo he ſhal preſent one of the turtle doues, or of the yong pigeons, i as he is able:
31.Suche, I ſay, as he is able, the one for a ſin offring, and the other for a burnt offring " with the meat offring: ſo the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for him that is to be clenſed before the Lord.
32.This is the k lawe of him which hathe ye plague of leproſie, who is not able in his clenſing to offre the whole.
33.¶ The Lord alſo ſpake vnto Moſés and to Aarón, ſaying,
34.When ye be come vnto the land of Canáan which I giue you in poſſeſſion, if I l ſend the plague of leproſie in an houſe of the land of your poſſeſſion,
35.Then he that oweth the houſe, ſhal come and tel the Prieſt, ſaying, Me thin-ke there is like a plague of leproſie in the houſe.
36.Then the Prieſt ſhal commande thé to empty the houſe before the Prieſt go in- to it to ſe the plague, that all that is in the houſe be not made vncleane, and then ſhal the Prieſt go in to ſe the houſe,
37.And he ſhal marke the plague: and if the plague be in the walles of the houſe, and that there be " depe ſpots, greniſh or red- diſh, which ſeme to be lower thé the wall,
38.Then the Prieſt ſhal go out of the hou- ſe to the dore of the houſe, and ſhal cauſe to ſhut vp the houſe ſeuen daies.
39.So yͤ Prieſt ſhal come againe the ſeuéth day: and if he ſe that the plague be increa- ſed in the walles of the houſe,
40.Then the Prieſt ſhal commande them to take away yͤ ſtones wherein the plague is, and they ſhal caſt them into a " foule pla- ce without the citie.
41.Alſo he ſhal cauſe to ſcrape the houſe within round about, and powre the duſt, that they haue pared of, without the citie in m an vncleane place.
42.And they ſhal take other ſtones, and put thé in yͤ places of thoſe ſtones, & ſhal take other mortar, to plaiſter the houſe with.
43.But if the plague come againe and bre- ake out in the houſe, after that he hathe ta- ken away the ſtones, and after yͤ he hathe ſcraped and plaiſtred the houſe,
44.Then the Prieſt ſhal come and ſe: and if the plague growe in the houſe, it is a fretting leproſie in the houſe: it is therefore vncleane.
45.And he ſhal n breake downe the houſe, with the ſtones of it, and the timber the- reof, and all the " mortar of the houſe, and he ſhal carie them out of the citie vnto an vncleane place.
46.Moreouer he that goeth into the houſe all yͤ while that it is ſhut vp, he ſhalbe vn- cleane vntil the euen.
47.He alſo that ſlepeth in the houſe ſhal waſh his clothes: he likewiſe that eateth in the houſe, ſhal waſh his clothes.
48.But if the Prieſt ſhal come and ſe, that the plague hathe ſpred no further in the houſe, after the houſe be plaiſtered, the Prieſt ſhal pronounce that houſe cleane, for the plague is healed.
49.Then ſhal he take to purifie the houſe, two ſparowes, and cedar wood, o & ſkar- let lace, and hyſſope.
50.And he ſhal kil one ſparowe ouer pure water in an earthen veſſel,
51.And ſhal take the cedar wood, and the hyſſope, and the ſkarlet lace with the liue ſparowe, and dip them in the blood of the ſlaine ſparowe, and in the pure water, and ſprinkle the houſe ſeuen times:
52.So ſhal he clenſe the houſe wͤ the blood of the ſparowe and with the pure water, and with the liue ſparowe, & with the ce- dar wood, and with the hyſſope, and with the ſkarlet lace.
53.Afterwarde he ſhal let go yͤ liue ſparowe out of the " towne into yͤ " broade fieldes: ſo ſhal he make atonement for the houſe, and it ſhalbe cleane.
54.This is the lawe for euerie plague of le- proſie and * blacke ſpot,
55.And of the leproſie of the garment, and of the houſe,
56.And of the " ſwelling, and of the ſkab, & of the white ſpot.
57.This is the lawe of yͤ leproſie to teache " when a thing is vncleane, and when it is cleane.
