Of the chambers of the Temple for the Prieſtes, and the holy things.
1.THen broght he me into ye vtter court by the waie towade the North, and he broght me into the chamber that was ouer againſt the ſeparate place, & which was before ye buylding towarde ye North.
2.Before ye length of an hũdreth cubites was ye North dore, & it was fiftie cubits broad.
3.Ouer againſt ye twentie cubites which were for the inner court, & ouer againſt the pauement, which was for the vtter court, was chambre againſt chambre in thre rowes.
4.And before ye chãbres was a galerie of ten cubites wide, & within was a waie of one cubite, and their dores towarde ye North.
5.Now the chambres aboue were narower: for thoſe chambres ſemed to eat vp theſe, to wit, the lower, and thoſe that were in the middes of the buylding.
6.For thei were in thre rowes, but had not pillers as the pillers of the court: therefore there was a difference frõ thẽ beneth & frõ the middlemoſt, euen frõ the ground.
7.And the wall yt was without ouer againſt ye chãbres, towarde ye vtter court on ye forefront of ye chãbers, was fiftie cubites long.
8.For the length of the chambres that were in the vtter court, was fiftie cubites: & lo, before ye Tẽple were an hundreth cubites.
9.And vnder theſe chambres was the entrie, on the Eaſt ſide, as one goeth into thẽ frõ the outwarde court.
10.The chambres were in the thickenes of the wall of the court towarde ye Eaſt, ouer againſt the ſeparate place, & ouer againſt the buylding.
11.And the waye before them was after the maner of the chambres, which were toward ye North as long as thei, & as broad as thei: & all their entries were like, bothe according to their facions, and according to their dores.
12.And according to the dores of ye chambres that were towarde ye South, was a dore in the corner of the waie, euen the waie directly before the wall towarde the Eaſt, as one entreth.
13.Then ſaid he vnto me, The North chambres & the South chambres which are before the ſeparate place, thei be holy chambres, wherein the Prieſts that approche vnto the Lord, ſhal eat the moſte holie things: there ſhal thei laie the moſte holy things, and the meat offring, and the ſinoffring, and the treſpaſſe offring: for the place is holy.
14.When the Prieſts entre therein, thei ſhal not go out of the holie place into the vtter court, but there thei ſhal laie their garmẽts wherein thei miniſter: for thei are holie, & ſhal put on other garmẽts, & ſo ſhal approche to thoſe things, wc are for the people.
15.Now when he had made an end of meaſuring ye inner houſe, he broght me forthe towarde ye gate whoſe proſpect is towarde the Eaſt, and meaſured it rounde about.
16.He meaſured the Eaſt ſide with the meaſuring rod, fiue hundreth redes, euen with the meaſuring rede rounde about.
17.He meaſured alſo ye North ſide, fiue hundreth redes, euen with the meaſuring rede rounde about.
19.He turned about alſo to the Weſt ſide, & meaſured fiue hundreth redes with the meaſuring rede.
20.He meaſured it by the foure ſides: it had a wall rounde about, fiue hundreth redes long, and fiue hundreth broad to make a ſeparation betwene the Sanctuarie, and ye prophane place.
