2 He prophecieth that Gog and Magog ſhal fight with great power againſt the people of God. 21 Their deſtruction.
1.ANd the worde of ye Lord came vnto me, ſaying,
3.And ſay, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, I come againſt thee, ô Gog the chief prince of Méſhech and Tubál.
8.After manie dayes thou ſha viſited: for in the latter yeres thou ſha come into the land, that hathe bene deſtroyed with the ſworde, and is gathered out of manie people vpon the moũtaines of Iſraél, which haue long lien waſte: yet they haue bene broght out of the people, and they ſhal dwell all ſafe.
9.Thou ſhalt aſcend and come vp like a tẽpeſt, & ſhalt be like a cloude to couer the land, bothe thou, and all thy bandes, & manie people with thee.
12.Thinking to ſpoile the pray, and to take a bootie, to turne thine hand vpon the deſolate places that are now inhabited, and vpon the people, that are gathered out of the nations which haue gotten cattel and goods & dwell in the middes of the land.
15.And come from thy place out of the North partes, thou & muche people with thee? all ſhal ride vpon horſes, euen a great multitude and a mightie armie.
18.At the ſame time alſo whẽ Gog ſhal come againſt the land of Iſraél, ſaith ye Lord God, my wrath ſhal ariſe in mine angre.
19.For in mine indignation & in the fyre of my wrath haue I ſpoke it: ſurely at that time there ſhalbe a great ſhaking in the lãd of Iſraél.
22.And I wil pleade againſt him with peſtilence, and with blood, and I wil cauſe to raine vpon him and vpon his bandes, and vpon the great people, that are with him, a ſore raine, and haile ſtones, fyre, & brimſtone.
