Ezekiel 39

8 He ſheweth the deſtruction of Gog and Magóg. 11 The graues of Gog and his hoſte. 17 Thei ſhalbe deuoured of birdes and beaſts. 23 Wherefore the houſe of Iſraél is captiue. 24 Their bringing againe from captiuitie is promiſed.
1.THerefore, thou ſonne of man, prophecie againſt Gog, & ſay, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, I come againſt thee, ô Gog, the chief prince of Méſhech and Tubál.
2.And I wil deſtroy thee & leaue but the fixt part of thee, & wil cauſe thee to come vp from the North partes and wil bring thee vpon the mountaines of Iſraél:
3.And I wil ſmite thy bowe out of thy left hand, and I wil cauſe thine arrowes to fall out of thy right hand.
4.Thou ſhalt fall vpon the mountaines of Iſraél, and all thy bãds and the people, that is with thee: for I wil giue thee vnto the birdes and to euery feathered foule & beaſt of the field to be deuoured.
5.Thou ſhalt fall vpon the open field: for I haue ſpoken it, ſaith the Lord God.
6.And I wil ſend a fyre on Magóg, and among them that dwell ſafely in the yles, and thei ſhal knowe, that I am the Lord.
7.So wil I make mine holy Name knowẽ in the middes of my people Iſraél, and I wil not ſuffer them to pollute mine holy Name anie more, and the heathen ſhal knowe that I am the Lord, the holie one of Iſraél.
8.Beholde, it is come, and it is done, ſaith the Lord God: this is the day whereof I haue ſpoken.
9.And thei that dwell in the cities of Iſraél, ſhal go forthe, and ſhal burne and ſet fyre vpon the weapons, and on the ſhields, and bucklers, vpon the bowes, and vpon the arrowes, and vpon the ſtaues in their hands, and vpon the ſpeares, and thei ſhal burne them with fyre ſeuen yeres.
10.So that they ſhal bring no wood out of the field, nether cut downe any out of the foreſts: for they ſhal burne the weapons with fyre, and they ſhal robbe thoſe, that robbed them, and ſpoyle thoſe that ſpoyled them, ſaith the Lord God.
11.And at yt ſame time wil I giue vnto Gog a place there for buryal in Iſraél, euen the valley whereby men go toward ye Eaſt part of the Sea: and it ſhal cauſe thẽ that paſſe by, to ſtop their noſes, and there ſhal they burye Gog with all his multitude: & they ſhal call it the valley of Hamón-Gog.
12.And ſeuen moneths long ſhal the houſe of Iſraél be burying of thẽ, that they may clenſe the land.
13.Yea, all the people of the land ſhal bury them, and they ſhal haue a name when I ſhalbe glorified, ſaith the Lord God.
14.And they ſhal chuſe out men to go continually through the land with them that trauail, to burye thoſe that remaine vpon the grounde, and clenſe it: they ſhal ſearche to the end of ſeuen moneths.
15.And the trauailers that paſſe through the land, if any ſe a mans bone, then ſhal he ſet vp a ſigne by it, til the buryers haue buryed it, in the valley of Hamón-Gog.
16.And alſo the name of the citie ſhal be Hamonáh: thus ſhal they clenſe the land.
17.And thou ſonne of man, thus ſaith the Lord God, Speake vnto euerie feathered foule, and to all the beaſtes of the field, Aſſemble your ſelues, and come: gather your ſelues on euerie ſide to my ſacrifice: for I do ſacrifice a great ſacrifice for you vpon the mountaines of Iſraél, that ye may eat fleſh, and drinke blood.
18.Ye ſhal eat the fleſh of the valiant, and drinke the blood of the princes of the earth, of the weathers, of the lambes, and of the goates, and of bullockes, euen of all fat beaſts of Baſhán.
19.And ye ſhal eat fat til you be full, and drinke blood, til ye be drunken of my ſacrifice, which I haue ſacrificed for you.
20.Thus you ſhal be filled at my table with horſes and chariots, with valiant men, and with all men of warre, ſaith the Lord God.
21.And I wil ſet my glorie among the heathen, and all the heathen ſhal ſe my iudgement, that I haue executed, and mine hand, which I haue layed vpon them.
22.So the houſe of Iſraél ſhal knowe, that I am the Lord their God from that day and ſo forthe.
23.And the heathen ſhal knowe, that the houſe of Iſraél went into captiuitie for their iniquitie, becauſe they treſpaced againſt me: therefore hid I my face from them, and gaue them into the hand of their enemies: ſo fel they all by the ſworde.
24.According to their vnclennes, and according to their tranſgreſsions haue I done vnto them, and hid my face from them.
25.Therefore thus ſaith the Lord God, Now wil I bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakób, and haue compaſsion vpon the whole houſe of Iſraél, and wil be ielous for mine holy Name,
26.After that they haue borne their ſhame, and all their tranſgreſsion, whereby they haue tranſgreſſed againſt me, when they dwelt ſafely in their land, and without feare of any.
27.When I haue broght them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies lands, and am ſanctified in them in the ſight of manie nacions,
28.Then ſhal they knowe, that I am the Lord their God, which cauſed them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there,
29.Nether wil I hide my face anie more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the houſe of Iſraél, ſaith the Lord God.
