Ezekiel 37

He prophecieth the bringing againe of the people, being in captiuitie 16 He ſheweth the vnion of the ten tribes with the two.
.THe hand of the Lord was vpon me, & caryed me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and ſet me downe in the middes of the field, which was ful of bones.
.And he led me round about by them, and beholde, there were very manie in the opē field, and lo, they were verie drye.
.And he ſaid vnto me, Sonne of man, can theſe bones liue? And I anſwered, ô Lord God, thou knoweſt.
.Againe he ſaid vnto me, Prophecie vpon theſe bones and ſay vnto them, O ye drye bones, heare the worde of the Lord.
.Thus ſaith the Lord God vnto theſe bones, Beholde, I wil cauſe breath to entre into you, and ye ſhal liue.
.And I wil lay ſinewes vpõ you, and make fleſh growe vpon you, and couer you with ſkin, and put breath in you, that ye may liue, and ye ſhal knowe that I am the Lord.
.So I prophecied, as I was commanded: and as I prophecied, there was a noiſe, and beholde, there was a ſhaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
.And when I behelde, lo, the ſinewes, and the fleſh grewe vpon them, and aboue, the ſkin couered thē, but there was no breath in them.
.Then ſaid he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, ſonne of man, and ſay to the winde, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, ô breath, and breathe vpon theſe ſlaine, that they may liue.
.So I prophecied as he had commanded me: and the breath came into them, and they liued, and ſtode vp vpon their fete, an exceding great armie.
.Then he ſaid vnto me, Sonne of man, theſe bones are the whole houſe of Iſraél. Beholde, they ſay, Our bones are dryed, and our hope is gone, & we are cleane cut of.
.Therefore prophecie, and ſay vnto thē, thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, my people, I wil open your graues, and cauſe you to come vp out of your ſepulchries, and bring you into the land of Iſraél,
.And ye ſhal knowe that I am the Lord, when I haue opened your graues, ô my people, and broght you vp out of your ſepulchres,
.And ſhal put my Spirit in you, and ye ſhal liue, & I ſhal place you in your owne land: then ye ſhal knowe that I the Lord haue ſpoken it, and performed it, ſaith the Lord.
.¶The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, ſaying,
.Moreouer thou ſonne of man, take thee a piece of wood, and write vpon it, Vnto Iudáh, and to the children of Iſraél his companions: then take another piece of wood and write vpon it, Vnto Ioſéph the tre of Ephráim, and to all the houſe of Iſraél his companions.
.And thou ſhalt ioyne them one to another into one tre, and they ſhalbe as one in thine hand.
.And whẽ the children of thy people ſhal ſpeake vnto thee, ſaying, Wilt thou not ſhewe vs what thou meaneſt by theſe?
.Thou ſhalt anſwer them, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, I wil take the tre of Ioſéph, which is in the hand of Ephráim, and the tribes of Iſraél his fellowes, and wil put them with him, euen with the tre of Iudáh, and make them one tre, and they ſhalbe one in mine hand.
.And the pieces of wood, whereon thou writeſt, ſhal be in thine hand, in their ſight.
.And ſay vnto them, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, I wil take the children of Iſraél from among the heathen, whether they be gone, and wil gather them on euerie ſide, and bring them into their owne land.
.And I wil make them one people in the land, vpon the mountaines of Iſraél, and one King ſhalbe King to them all: & they ſhalbe no more two peoples, nether be deuided anie more hence for the into two kingdomes.
.Nether ſhal they be polluted anie more with their idoles, nor with their abominacions, nor with anie of their trãſgreſsions: but I wil ſaue them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they haue ſinned, and wil clenſe them: ſo ſhal they be my people, and I wil be their God.
.And Dauid my ſeruãt ſhalbe King ouer them, and they all ſhal haue one ſhepherd: they ſhal alſo walke in my iudgements, and obſerue my ſtatutes, and do them.
.And they ſhal dwell in the land, that I haue giuen vnto Iaakób my ſeruãt, where your fathers haue dwelt, & they ſhal dwell therein, euen they, and their ſonnes, & their ſonnes ſonnes for euer, and my ſeruãt Dauid ſhalbe their prince for euer.
.Moreouer, I wil make a couenant of peace with them: it ſhal be an euerlaſting couenant with them, and I wil place them, & multiplie them, and wil ſet my Sanctuarie among them for euer more.
.My tabernacle alſo ſhalbe with thẽ: yea, I wil be their God, and they ſhalbe my people.
.Thus the heathen ſhal knowe, that I the Lord do ſanctifie Iſraél, when my Sãctuarie ſhalbe among them for euer more.
