Ezekiel 10

2 Of the man that toke hote burning coles out of the middle of the wheles of the Cherubims. 8 A reherſal of the viſion of the wheles, of the beaſtes, and of the Cherubims.
1.ANd as I loked, beholde, in the fir mament that was aboue the head of the *Cherubims there appeared vpon thẽ like vnto the ſimilitude of a throne, as it were a ſaphir ſtone.
2.And he ſpake vnto the man clothed with linen, and ſaid, Go in betwene the wheles, euen vnder the Cherúb, and fil thine hands with coles of fyre from betwene the Che rubims, and ſcatter them ouer the citie. And he went in in my ſight.
3.Now the Cherubims ſtode vpõ the right ſide of the houſe when the man went in, & the cloude filled the inner court.
4.Then the glorie of the Lord * went vp frõ the Cherúb, and ſtode ouer the dore of the houſe, and the houſe was filled with the cloude, and ye court was filled with the brightnes of the Lords glorie.
5.And the ſoũde of the Cherubims wings was heard into the vtter court, as the voyce of the Almightie God, when he ſpeaketh.
6.And when he had cõmanded the man clothed with linnen, ſaying, Take fyre from betwene the wheles, & from betwene the Cherubims, then he went in and ſtode beſide the whele.
7.And one Cherúb ſtretched forthe his hãd from betwene the Cherubims vnto the fyre, that was betwene the Cherubims, & toke thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who toke it and went out.
8.And there appeared in the Cherubims, ye likenes of a mãs hãd vnder their wings.
9.And whẽ I loked vp, beholde foure wheles were beſide the Cherubims, one whele by one Cherúb, and another whele by another Cherúb, and the appearance of the wheles was as the colour of a * chryſolite ſtone.
10.And their appearance (for they were all foure of one facion) was as if one whele had bene in another whele.
11.When they went forthe, they went vpon their foure ſides, and they returned not as they went: but to the place whether the firſt wẽnt, they wẽnt after it, & they turned not as they went.
12.And their whole body, and their rings, & their hãds, and their wings, & the wheles were ful of eyes round about, euen in the ſame foure wheles.
13.And the Cherúb cryed to theſe wheles in mine hearing, ſaying, O whele.
14.And euery beaſt had foure faces: ye firſt face was the face of a Cherúb, and the ſeconde face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an egle.
15.And the Cherubims were lifted vp: this is the beaſt that I ſawe at the riuer Chebár.
16.And whẽ the Cherubims went, the wheles went by them: and when the Cherubims lift vp their wings to mount vp from the earth, the ſame wheles alſo turned not from beſide them.
17.When the Cherubims ſtode, thei ſtode: and when thei were lifted vp, thei lifted themſelues vp alſo: for the ſpirit of the beaſt was in them.
18.Then the glorie of the Lord departed from aboue the dore of the Houſe, & ſtode vpon the Cherubims.
19.And the Cherubims lift vp their wings, and mounted vp frõ the earth in my ſight: whẽ thei went out, the wheles alſo were beſides them: & euerie one ſtode at the entrie of ye gate of the Lords Houſe at the Eaſt ſide, & the glorie of the God of Iſraél was vpon them on hie.
20.This is the beaſt that I ſaw vnder the God of Iſraél by the riuer Chebár, and I knewe that thei were the Cherubims.
21.Euerie one had foure faces, and euerie one foure wings, and the likenes of mans hands was vnder their wings.
22.And the likenes of their faces was the ſelfe ſame faces, which I ſawe by the riuer Chebár, and the appearance of the Cherubims was the ſelfe ſame, and thei went euerie one ſtraight forwarde.
