Exodus 25

2 The voluntarie gifts for the making of the Taberna-cle. 10 The forme of the Arke 17 The Mercifeat. 23 The Table 31 The Cãdelſtick 40 All must be done according to the patern.
1.THen the Lord ſpake vnto Moſes, ſaying,
2.a Speake vnto the children of Iſraél, that they receiue an offring for me: of * euerie mã, whoſe heart giueth it frely, ye ſhaltake the offring for me.
3.And this is ye offring which ye ſhal b take of them, golde, and ſiluer, and braſſe,
4.And ^ blewe ſilke, and purple, and ſkarlet, and fine linen, and goates heere.
5.And ramme ſkins coloured red, and the ſkins of badgers, and the wood c Shittím,
6.Oyle for the light, ſpices for d anointing oyle, & for the perfume of ſwete ſauour,
7.Onix ſtones, and ſtones to be ſet in the * Ephod, and in the * breſt plate.
8.Alſo they ſhal make me a e Sanctuarie, yt I may dwel among them.
9.According to all that I ſhewe thee, euen ſo ſhal ye make the forme of the Tabernacle, and the facion of all the inſtruments thereof.
10.¶ They ſhal make alſo an * Arke of Shittim wood, two cubites and an halfe long, & a cubite and an halfe broad, & a cubite and an halfe hie.
11.And thou ſhalt ouerlaye it with pure golde: within & without ſhalt thou ouerlaye it, and ſhalt make vpó it a ^ crowne of golde rounde about.
12.And thou ſhalt caſt foure rings of golde for it, and put them in the foure ^ corners thereof: that is, two rings ſhalle be on ye one ſide of it, and two rings on the other ſide thereof.
13.And thou ſhalt make barres of Shittim wood, and couer them with golde.
14.Then thou ſhalt put the barres in the rings by the ſides of the Arke, to beare ye Arke with them.
15.The barres ſhal be in the rings of the Arke: they ſhal not be taken away from it.
16.So thou ſhalt put in the Arke the f Teſtimonie which I ſhal giue thee.
17.Alſo thou ſhalt make a " g Mercifeat of pure golde, two cubites and an halfe lõg, and a cubite and an halfe broad.
18.And thou ſhalt make two Cherubíms of golde: of worke beaten out with the hammer ſhalt thou make them at ye two endes of the Mercifeat.
19.And the one Cherúb ſhalt thou make at the one end, & the other Cherúb at ye other end: of the matter of the Mercifeat ſhal ye make the Cherubíms, on the two endes thereof.
20.And the Cherubíms ſhal ſtretch their wings on hie, couering the Mercifeat with their wings, & their faces one to an other: to the Mercifeat ward ſhal the faces of ye Cherubíms be.
21.And thou ſhalt put the Mercifeat aboue vpon the Arke, and in the Arke thou ſhalt put ye Teſtimonie, which I wil giue thee,
22.And there I wil " declare my ſelfe vnto thee, and from aboue the Mercifeat * betwene the two Cherubíms, which are vpõ the Arke of the Teſtimonie, I wil tel thee all things which I wil giue thee in cõmandement vnto the children of Iſraél.
23.* Thou ſhalt alſo make a table of Shittim wood, of two cubites long, & one cubite broad, and a cubite and an half hie:
24.And thou ſhalt couer it ŵ pure golde, and make thereto a crowne of golde rounde about.
25.Thou ſhalt alſo make vnto it a border of h foure fingers rounde about: and thou ſhalt make a golden crowne rounde about the border thereof.
26.After, thou ſhalt make for it foure rings of golde, & ſhalt put the rings in yͤ foure corners that are in the foure fete thereof:
27.Ouer againſt the border ſhal the rings be for places for barres, to beare the Table.
28.And thou ſhalt make the barres of Shittim wood, and ſhalt ouerlay them with golde, that yͤ Table may be borne with them.
29.Thou ſhalt make alſo i diſhes for it, and incens cups for it and couerings for it, and goblets, wherewith it ſhalbe couered, euē of fine golde ſhalt thou make them.
30.And thou ſhalt ſet vpō the Table ſhewbread before me continually.
31.* Alſo thou ſhalt make a Candelſticke of pure golde: of k worke beaten out ŵ the hāmer ſhal the Candelſticke be made, his ſhaft, & his brāches, his bolles, his knops: and his ſloures ſhal be of the ſame.
32.Six branches alſo ſhal come out of the ſides of it: thre branches of the Candelſticke out of the one ſide of it, and thre branches of the Candelſticke out of the other ſide of it.
33.Thre bolles like vnto almondes, one knop and one floure in one branche: and thre bolles like almondes in the other brāche, one knop and one floure: ſo through out the ſix branches that come out of the Candelſticke.
34.And in the ſhaft of yͤ Candelſticke ſhalle foure bolles like vnto almondes, his knops & his floures.
35.And there ſhalbe a knop vnder two branches made thereof: & a knop vnder two brāches made thereof: and a knop vnder two brāches made thereof according to the ſix branches comming out of the Candelſticke.
36.Their knops and their branches ſhalbe thereof: all this ſhalbe one beatē worke of pure golde.
37.And yͤ ſhalt make the ſeuen lāpes thereof, & yͤ lāpes thereof ſhalt yͤ put thereon, to giue light toward that that is before it.
38.Alſo the ſnoffers & ſnoffediſhes thereof ſhalle of pure golde.
39.Of l a talēt of fine golde ſhalt thou make it with all theſe inſtruments.
40.* Loke then fore that thou make them after their facion, that was ſhewed thee in the mountaine.

Becauſe the facion of the candelſtick is ſo plaine & euidēt, it nedeth not to deſcribe the particular partes thereof according to the ordre of lettres Onely where as it is ſaid in the 34 verſe, that there ſhalbe foure bowles or cuppes in the cādelſticke, it muſt be underſtād of the ſhaft or ſtāke: for there are but thre for euerie one of the other branches. Alſo the knoppes of the cādelſtick are thoſe which are vnder the brāches as thei iſſue out of the ſhaft on ether ſide.
