Psalm 93

1 He praiſeth the power of God in the creation of the worlde, & beateth downe all people which lift them vp againſt his maieſtie,5 And prouoketh to conſider his promiſes.
1.THe Lord reigneth, & is clothed with maieſtie: the Lord is clothed, & girded with power: the worlde alſo ſhalbe eſtabliſhed, that it can not be moued.
2.Thy throne is eſtabliſhed of olde: thou art from euerlaſting.
3.The floods haue lifted vp, ô Lord: the floods haue lifted vp their voice: the floods lift vp their waues.
4.The waues of the ſea are maruelous through the noiſe of manie waters, yet the Lord on high is more mightie.
5.Thy teſtimonies are verie ſure: holines becommeth thine Houſe, ô Lord, for euer.

As God by his power and wiſdome hath made and gouerneth the worlde: ſo muſte the ſame be our defence againſt all enemies & dãgers.

Wherevpõ ſitteſt & gouerneſt ye worlde

Gods power appeareth ĩ ruling the furious waters.

Beſides Gods power & wiſdome in creating, and gouerning, his great mercie alſo appeareth in yt he hathe giuen his people his worde and couenant.
