Psalms 92

This psalme was made to be sung on the Sabbath, to stir up the people to acknowledge God and to praise him in his works: the Prophet rejoyceth therein, 6 But the wicked is not able to consider that the ungodlie, when he is most florishing, shal most spedely perish. 12 In the end is described the felicity of the just, planted in the house of God to praise the Lord.
Apsalme or song for the aSabbath daie.
.It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing unto thy Name, ô most High,
.To declare thy loving kindness in the bmorning, and thy truth in the night,
.Upon an cinstrument of ten strings, and upon the voile with the song upon the harp.
.For thou, Lord, hast made me glad by thy dworks, and I wil rejoyce in the works of thine hands.
.O Lord, how glorious are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
.An eunwise man knoweth it not, & a fool doeth not understand this,
.(When the wicked grow as the grass, and all the workers of wickedness do florish) that they shal be destroyed for ever.
.But thou, ô Lord, art fmost high for ever more.
.For lo, thine enemies, ô Lord: for lo, thine enemies shal perish: all the workers of iniquity shalbe destroyed.
.gBut thou shalt exalt mine horn, like the unicorns, & I shalbe anointed with fresh oil.
.Mine eie also shal se my desire against mine enemies: and mine ears shal hear my wish against the wicked, that rise up against me.
.The righteous shal hflorish like a palm tre, and shal grow like a cedre in Lebanón.
.Such as be planted in the House of the Lord, shal florish in the courts of our God.
.They shal still bring forth fruit in their iage: they shalbe fat and florishing,
.To declare that the Lord my rock is righteous, and that none iniquity is in him.
