Psalms 94

He praieth unto God against the Violence and arrogancie of tyrants, 10 Warning them of God’s judgements 13 Then doeth he comfort the afflicted by the good issue of their affliction, as he felt in him self, and did see in others, and by the ruin of the wicked, 23 Whom the Lord wil destroy.
.O Lord God athe advenger, ô God the advenger, shewe thy self bclearly.
.Exalt thy self, ô Judge of the world, and render a reward to the proud.
.Lord, how long shal the wicked, how long shal the wicked ctriumph?
.They prate and speak fiercely: all the workers of iniquity vante them selves.
.They dsmite down thy people, ô Lord, & trouble thine heritage.
.They slay the widow & the stranger, & murther the fatherless.
.eYet they say, The Lord shal not see: neither wil the God of Jaakób regard it.
.Understand ye unwise among the people: and ye fools, when wil ye be wise?
.He that fplanted the ear, shal he not hear? or he that formed the eye, shal he not se?
.Or he that chasticeth the gnations, shal he not correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shal he not know?
.The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
.Blessed is the man, whom thou hchasticest, ô Lord, and teachest him in thy Law,
.That thou maiest give him rest from the days of evil, whiles the pit is digged for the wicked.
.Surely the Lord wil not fail his people, neither wil he forsake his inheritance.
.For ijudgement shal return to justice, and all the upright in heart shal follow after it.
.Who wil rise up with me against the wicked? or who wil take my part against the workers of iniquity?
.If the Lord had not kholpen me, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
.When I said, lMy foot slideth, thy mercie, ô Lord, staied me.
.In the multitude of my mthoughts in mine heart, thy comforts have rejoyced my soul.
.Hath the throne of iniquity nfellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a law?
.They gather them together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
.But the Lord is my refuge, & my God is the rock of mine hope.
.And he wil recompense them their wickedness, and odestroy them in their own malice: yea, the Lord our God shal destroy them.
