Eliſhâ prophecieth vnto the Shunammite the dearth of ſeuen yere 12 He prophecieth to Hazaél that he ſhalbe King of Syria 15 He reigneth after Benhadád. 16 Iehoram reigneth ouer Iudáh. 20 Edóm falleth from Iudáh 25 Ahaziáh ſuccedeth Iehorám.
2.And the woman aroſe, and did after the ſaying of the man of God, and went bothe ſhe & her houſholde and ſoiourned in the land of the Philiſtíms ſeuen yeres.
4.And the King talked with Gehazí the ſeruát of the man of God, ſaying, Tel me, I praye thee, all the great actes, that Eliſhâ hathe done.
7.¶Then Eliſhâ came to Damaſcus, & Ben-hadád the King of Arám was ſicke. & one tolde him, ſaying, The man of God is come hether.
8.And the King ſaid vnto Hazaél, Take a preſent in thine hand, and go mete the man of God, that thou maieſt inquire of the Lord by him, ſaying, Shal I recouer of this diſeaſe?
11.And he loked vpon him ſtedfaſtely til Hazaél was aſhamed, and the man of God wept.
12.And Hazaél ſaid, Why wepeth my lord? And he anſwered, Becauſe I knowe the euil that thou ſhalt do vnto the children of Iſraél: for their ſtrong cities ſhalt thou ſet on fyre, and their yóg men ſhalt thou ſlay with the ſworde, and ſhalt daſhe their infants againſt the ſtones, & rent in pieces their women with childe.
14.¶So he departed from Eliſhâ, and came to his maſter, who ſaid to him, What ſaid Eliſhâ to thee? And he anſwered, He tolde me that thou ſhuldeſt recouer.
17.17 He was two and thirtie yere olde, when he began to reigne: and he reigned eight yere in Ieruſalém.
21.21 Therefore Iorám went to Zaír, and all his charets with him, & he aroſe by night, and ſmote the Edomites which were about him with the captaines of the charets, and the people fled into their tentes.
23.23 Concerning the reſt of the actes of Iorám and all that he did, are they not writen in the boke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudáh?
25.25 ¶ In the twelft yere of Iorám the ſonne of Aháb King of Iſraél did Ahaziáh the ſonne of Iehorám King of Iudáh begin to reigne.
27.27 And he walked in the way of the houſe of Aháb, and did euil in the ſight of the Lord, like the houſe of Aháb: for he was the ſonne in lawe of the houſe of Aháb.
