1 Iaakób at Gods commandement goeth up to Beth-él. 2 He reformeth his houſholde 8 Deboráh dyeth. 12 The land of Canaan is promiſed him. 18 Rahél dyeth in labour 22 Reubén lieth with his fathers cöcubine. 30 The death of Izhák.
3.For we wil riſe and go vp to Beth-él, and I wil make an altar there vnto God, which heard me in the day of my tribulacion, & was with me in the way which I went.
6.So came Iaakób to Luz, which is in the land of Canáan: (the ſame is Beth-él) he and all the people that was with him.
9.¶ Againe God appeared vnto Iaakób, after he came out of Padán Arám, and bleſſed him.
12.Alſo I wil giue ye land, which I gaue to Abraham and Izhák, vnto thee: & vnto thy ſede after thee wil I giue that land.
14.And Iaakób ſet vp a piller in the place where he talked with him, a piller of ſtone, and powred drinke offring thereon: alſo he powred oyle thereon.
15.And Iaakób called the name of the place, where God ſpake with him, Beth-él.
17.And when ſhe was in peines of her labour, the midwife ſaid vnto her, Feare not: for thou ſhalt haue this ſonne alſo.
18.Then as ſhe was about to yelde vp the goſte (for ſhe dyed) ſhe called his name Ben-oní, but his father called him Beniamín.
19.Thus dyed Rahél, & was buried in the way to Ephráth, which is Beth-léhem.
21.¶ Thé Iſraél went forwarde, & pitched his tent beyonde Migdal-éder.
23.The ſonnes of Leáh: Reubén Iaakobs eldeſt ſonne, and Simeón, & Leuí, & Iudáh, & Iſſachár, & Zebulún.
24.The ſonnes of Rahél: Ioſéph and Beniamín.
25.And ye ſonnes of Bilháh Rahels maide: Dan and Naphtalí.
27.¶ Then Iaakób came vnto Izhák his father to Mamré a citie of Arbáh: this is Hebrón, where Abrahám and Izhák were ſtrangers.
28.And the dayes of Izhák were an hundreth and foure ſcore yeres.
