.And he lift vp his eies, and loked: and lo, thre a men ſtode by him, and when he ſawe them, he ran to mete them from the tent dore, & bowed him ſelfe to the grounde.
.And he ſaid, b Lord, if I haue now found fauour in thy ſight, go not, I praie thee, from thy ſeruant.
.Let a litle water, I pray you, be broght, and waſh your c fete, and reſt your ſelues vnder the tre.
.And I wil bring a morſel of bread, that you may cõfort your heartes, afterwarde ye ſhal go your waies: for therefore are ye d come to your ſeruant. And they ſaid, Do euen as thou haſt ſaid.
.Then Abrahám made haſte into the tẽt vnto Saráh, and ſaid, Make ready at once thre " meaſures of fine meale: knede it, and make cakes vpon the herthe.
.And Abrahám ran to y beaſtes, & toke a tender and good calfe, and gaue it to the ſeruant, who haſted to make it ready.
.And he toke butter & milke, and the calfe, which he had prepared, and ſet before them, and ſtode him ſelfe by them vnder the tre, and e they did eat.
.¶ Thé thei ſaid to him, Where is Saráh thy wife? And he anſwered, Beholde, ſhe is in the tent.

.(Now Abrahám and Saráh were olde & ſtriken in age, and it ceaſed to be with Saráh after the maner of women)
.Therfore Saráh g laughed within her ſelfe, ſaying, After I am waxed olde, * & my lord alſo, ſhal I haue luſt?
.And y Lord ſaid vnto Abrahám, Wherefore did Saráh thus laugh, ſaying, Shal I certeinly beare a childe, which am olde?
.(Shal anie thĩg be " hard to the Lord? at y time appointed wil I returne vnto thee, euen according to the time of life, and Saráh ſhal haue a ſonne.)
.But Saráh denied, ſaying, I laughed not: for ſhe was afraid. And he ſaid, It is not ſo: for thou laughedſt.
.¶ Afterward y mẽ did riſe vp frõ thẽce & loked toward Sodóm: and Abrahám wẽt with them to bring them on y waie.
.And the h Lord ſaid, Shal I hide from Abrahám that thing which I do,
.Seĩg y Abrahám ſhalbe in dede a great and a mightie nacion, & * all the naciõs of the the earth ſhal be bleſſed in him?
.For I knowe him i yͤ he wil commande his ſonnes and his houſholde after him, that thei kepe the waie of the Lord, to do righteouſnes and iudgement, that the Lord maie bring vpon Abrahám that he hathe ſpoken vnto him.
.Then the Lord ſaid, Becauſe the crie of Sodóm and Gomoráh is great, and becauſe their ſinne is exceding grieuous,
.I wil k go downe now, and ſe whether thei haue done altogether according to yͤ crie, which is come vnto me: and if not, that I maie knowe.
.And l men turned thence & went toward Sodóm: but Abrahám ſtode yet before the Lord.
.Thẽ Abrahám drewenere, & ſaid, Wilt yͤ alſo deſtroie yͤ righteous with yͤ wicked?
.If there be fiftie righteous within the citie, wilt thou deſtroie & not ſpare the place for yͤ fiftie righteous that are therein?
.Be it farre frõ thee frõ doing this thing, to ſlay the righteous with the wicked: & that the righteous ſhulde be euen as the wicked, be it farre from thee. ſhal not the iudge of all the worlde * do right?
.And the Lord anſwered, If I ſhal finde in Sodóm m fifty righteous within yͤ citie, thẽ wil I ſpare all the place for their ſakes.
.Then Abrahám anſwered and ſaid, Beholde now, I haue begonne to ſpeake vnto my Lord, and I am duſt and aſſhes.
.If there ſhal lacke fiue of fiftie righteous, wilt yͤ deſtroie all the citie for fiue? And he ſaid, If I finde there fiue and fourty, I wil not deſtroie it.
.And he yet ſpake to him againe, and ſaid, What if there ſhalbe founde fourtie? Then he anſwered, I wil not do it for fourties ſake.
.Againe he ſaid, Let not my Lord now be angry n yͤ I ſpeake, What if thirtie be foúde there? Then he ſaid, I wil not do it, if I finde thirtie there.
.Moreouer he ſaid, Beholde, now I haue begõne to ſpeake vnto my Lord, What if twentie be founde there? And he ãſwered, I wil not deſtroie it for twenties ſake.
.Then he ſaid, Let not my Lord be now angrie, & I wil ſpeak but this o once, What if ten be founde there? And he anſwered, I wil not deſtroie it for tens ſake.
.And yͤ Lord went his waie when he had left communing with Abrahám, & Abrahám returned vnto his place.
