1. 7. What Kings Ioſhúa and the children of Iſraél killed on bothe ſides of Iordén. 24 Which were in nomber thirtie and one.
1.AND theſe are the Kings of the land, which the children of Iſraél ſmote and poſſeſſed their land, on the a other ſide Iordén toward ye riſing of the ſunne, fró the riuer Arnón, vnto moút Hermón, and all the plaine Eaſtward.
2.* Sihón King of the Amorites, that dwelt in Heſhbón, hauing dominion from Aroér, which is beſide the riuer of Arnón, and from the middle of the riuer, & from halfe Gileád vnto the riuer Iabbók, in the border of the children of Ammón.
3.And fró the plaine vnto the ſea of Cinneróth Eaſtward, and vnto the Sea of the plaine, eué the ſalt Sea Eaſtward, the way " to Bethieſhimóth, & from the South vnder the " ſprings of * Piſgáh.
4.¶ They conquered alſo the coaſt of Og King of Baſhán of the * remnant of the gyátes, wc dwelt at Aſhtaróth, & at Edréi,
5.And reigned in mount Hermón, and in Salcáh, and in all Baſhán, vnto the border of the Geſhurites, and the Maachathites, & halfe Gileád, euen the border of Sihón King of Heſhbón.
6.Moſés the ſeruant of the Lord, and the children of Iſraél ſmote them: * Moſés alſo the ſeruát of the Lord gaue their land for a poſſeſſió vnto ye Reubenites, & vnto the Gadites, and to halfe ye tribe of Manaſſéh.
7.¶ Theſe alſo are the Kings of the countrey, wc Ioſhúa and the children of Iſraél ſmote on this ſide Iordén, Weſtward, fró Baal-gád in ye valley of Lebanón, eué vnto ye mount b Halák yt goeth vp to Seír, & Ioſhúa gaue it vnto ye tribes of Iſraél for a poſſeſſion, according to their porciōs:
8.In the mountaines, and in the valleis, & in the plaines, & in the " hil ſides, & in the wildernes, & in the Southe, where were the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, ye Perizzites, ye Hiuites, & ye Iebuſites.
9.* The King of Ierichó was one: * the King of Ai which is beſide Beth-él, one.
