Leviticus 4

1 The offring for sinnes done of ignorãce, 3 For the Priest, 13 The Congregation, 22 The ruler, 27 And the priuate man.
1.MOreouer the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto the children of Iſraél, ſaying, If " a anie ſhal ſinne through * ignorãce, in anie of the commandements of ye Lord (which oght not to be done) but ſhal do contrarie to anie of them,
3.If the b Prieſt that is anointed do ſinne (according to the ſinne of the people) thẽ ſhal he offer, for his ſinne which he hathe finned, a yong bullocke without blemiſh vnto the Lord for a ſinne offring,
4.And he ſhal bring the bullocke vnto the dore of the Tabernaele of the Cõgregacion before the Lord, & ſhal put his hãd vpon the bullocks head, and c kil the bullocke before the Lord.
5.And the Prieſt that is anointed ſhal take of the bullocks blood, and bring it into ye Tabernacle of the Congregacion.
6.Then the Prieſt ſhal dip his finger in the blood, and ſprinkle of the blood ſeuen times before the Lord, before the vaile of the d Sanctuarie.
7.The Prieſt alſo ſhal put ſome of the blood before the Lord, vpõ the hornes of ye altar of ſwete incẽs, which is in ye Tabernacle of the Congregacion, then ſhal he powre * all the reſt of the blood of the bullocke at the fote of ye altar of burnt offring, which is at the dore of the Tabernacle of the e Congregacion.
8.And he ſhal take away all the fat of the bullocke for the ſinne offring: to wit, ye fat that couereth the inwardes, and all the fat that is about the inwardes.
9.He ſhal take away alſo the two kidneis, and the fat that is vpon them, and vpon the flanks, & the kall vpon the liuer with the kidneis,
10.As it was taken away from the bullocke of the peace offrings, and the Prieſt ſhal burne thẽ vpon the altar of burnt offring.
11.* But the ſkin of the bullocke, and all his fleſh, with his head, and his legs, & his inwardes, and his doung ſhal he beare out.
12.So he ſhal cary the whole bullocke out of the * hoſte vnto a cleane place, where ye aſhes are powred, & ſhal burne him on ye wood in the fire: where the aſhes are caſt out, ſhal he be burnt.
13.¶ And if the f whole Congregacion of Iſrael Iſraél ſhal ſinne through ignorance, and the thing be * hid from the eies of the multitude, and haue done againſt anie of ye comandements of the Lord which ſhulde not be done, and haue offended:
14.When the ſinne which they haue cōmitted ſhalbe knowen, then the Congregaciō ſhal offre a yong bullocke for the ſinne, and bring him before the Tabernacle of the Congregacion,
15.And the g Elders of the Congregacion ſhal put their hands vpon the head of the bullocke before the Lord, and he ſhal kil the bullocke before the Lord,
16.Then the Prieſt that is anointed, ſhal bring of the bullocks blood into the Tabernacle of the Congregacion,
17.And the " Prieſt ſhall dip his finger in the blood, and ſprinkle it ſeuen times before the Lord, euen before the vaile.
18.Alſo he ſhal put ſome of the blood vpon the hornes of the altar, which is before the Lord, yt is in the Tabernacle of the Congregacion: then ſhal he powre all the reſt of ye blood at ye fote of the altar of burnt offring, which is at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion,
19.And he ſhal take all his fat from him, & " burne it vpon the altar.
20.And the Prieſt ſhal do with this bullocke, as he did with the bullocke for his ſinne: ſo ſhal he do w̄ this: ſo the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for them, and it ſhalbe forgiuen them.
21.For he ſhal carie the bullocke without ye hoſte, and burne him as he burned the firſt bullocke: for it is an offring for the ſinne of the Congregacion.
22.¶ When a ruler ſhal ſinne, & do through ignorance againſt anie of the commādements of the Lord his God, which ſhulde not be done and ſhal offende,
23.If one ſhewe vnto him his ſinne which he hathe cōmitted, then ſhal he bring for his offring an " he goat without blemiſh,
24.And ſhal lay his hand vpon the head of the he goat, & kil it in h the place where he ſhulde kil the burnt offring before the Lord: for it is a ſinne offring.
25.Then the Prieſt ſhal take of the blood of the ſinne offring with his finger, & put it vpon the hornes of the burnt offring altar, and ſhal powre the reſt of his blood at the fote of the burnt offring altar,
26.And ſhal burne all his fat vpō the altar, as the fat of the peace offring: ſo ye Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for him, concerning his ſinne, and it ſhal be forgiuē him.
27.¶ Likewiſe if anie of the " people of the land ſhal ſinne through ignorance in doing againſt anie of the commandements of the Lord, which ſhulde not be done, & ſhal offend,
28.If one ſhewe him his ſinne which he hathe cōmitted, then he ſhal bring for his offring " a the goat without blemiſh for his ſinne which he hathe committed,
29.kl And he ſhal lay his hand vpon the head of the ſinne offring, and ſlay the ſinne offring in the place of burnt offring.
30.Then the Prieſt ſhal take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it vpō the hornes of the burnt offring altar, & powre all the reſt of the blood thereof at the fote of the altar,
31.And ſhal take away all his fat, as the fat of the peace offring is taken away, and the Prieſt ſhal burne it vpō the altar for a * ſwete ſauour vnto the Lord, & the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for him, and it ſhalbe forgiuen him.
32.¶ And if he bring a lambe for his ſinne offrīg, he ſhal brīg a female without blemiſh,
33.And ſhal lay his m hand vpon the head of the ſinne offring, and he ſhal ſlay it for a ſinne offring in the place where he ſhulde kil the burnt offring.
34.Then the Prieſt ſhal take of the blood of the ſinne offring with his finger, and put it vpon the hornes of the burnt offring altar, & ſhal powre all the reſt of the blood thereof at the fote of the altar.
35.And he ſhal take away all ye fat thereof, as the fat of the lambe of ye peace offrings is taken away: then the Prieſt ſhal burne it vpon the altar " with the oblatiōs of the Lord made by fire, & the Prieſt ſhal make an atonement for him cōcerning his ſinne that he hathe committed, and it ſhalbe forgiuen him.
