Leviticus 27

2 Of diuers vowes, and the redemption of the same. 28 A thing separate from the use of man can not be solde nor redemed, but remaineth to the Lord.
1.AND the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto yͤ childre̅ of Iſraél, & ſay vnto the̅, If anie ma̅ ſhal make a a vowe of a perſone vnto yͤ Lord, by b thy eſtimació,
3.Then thy eſtimacion ſhalbe thus: a male fro̅ twenty yere olde vnto ſixty yere olde ſhalbe by thy eſtimacion eue̅ fifty c ſhekels of ſiluer, after the ſhekel of the Sa̅ctuarie.
4.But if it be a female, then thy valuacion ſhalbe thirty ſhekels.
5.And from fiue yere olde to twenty yere olde, thy valuacion ſhalbe for the male twéty ſhekels, & for yͤ female ten ſhekels.
6.But from a d moneth olde vnto fiue yere olde, thy price of the male ſhalbe fiue ſhekels of ſiluer, and thy price of the female, thre ſhekels of ſiluer.
7.And from ſixty yere olde and aboue, if he be a male, then thy price ſhal be fiftene ſhekels, and for the female ten ſhekels.
8.But if he be poorer e then thou haſt eſtemed him, the̅ ſhal he preſent him ſelfe before the Prieſt, & the Prieſt ſhal value him, according to the abilitie of him yͤ vowed, ſo ſhal the Prieſt value him.
9.And if it be a f beaſt, whereof men bring an offring vnto the Lord, all that one giueth of ſuche vnto the Lord, ſhal be holy.
10.He ſhal not alter it nor cha̅ge it, a good for a bad, nor a bad for a good: and if he change beaſt for beaſt, then bothe this and yͤ, which was cha̅ged for it, ſhalbe g holy.
11.And if it be anie vncleane beaſt, of wͤ me̅ do not offer a ſacrifice vnto yͤ Lord, he ſhal then preſent the beaſt before the Prieſt.
12.And the Prieſt ſhal value it, whether it be good or bad: and as thou valueſt it, which art the Prieſt, ſo ſhal it be.
13.But if he wil bie it againe, then he ſhal giue the fift parte of it more, aboue thy valuacion.
14.¶ Alſo whe̅ a man ſhal dedicate his houſe to be holy vnto yͤ Lord, the̅ the Prieſt ſhal value it, whether it be good or bad, & as yͤ Prieſt ſhal priſe it, " ſo ſhal the value be.
15.But if he that ſanctified it, wil redeme his houſe, then he ſhal giue thereto the fift parte of money more then thy eſtimacion, and it ſhalbe his.
16.If alſo a man dedicate to the Lord anie grou̅de of his inheritance, then ſhalt thou eſteme it according to the h ſede thereof: an Homer of bailie ſede ſhalbe at fiftie ſhekels of ſiluer.
17.If he dedicate his field immediately fro̅ yͤ yere of Iubile, it ſhal be worthe as thou doeſt eſteme it.
18.But if he dedicate his field after yͤ Iubile, the̅ the Prieſt ſhal reke̅ him the money according to the yeres that remaine vnto the yere of Iubile, and it ſhalbe abated by thy eſtimacion.
19.And if he that dedicateth it, wil redeme the field, then he ſhal put the fift part of the price, that thou eſtemedſt it at, thereunto, and it ſhal remaine his.
20.And if he wil not redeme the field, but the Prieſt k ſel the field to another man, it ſhalbe redemed nomore.
21.But the field ſhalbe holie to the Lord, when it goeth out in the Iubile, as a field l ſeparate from commune vſe: the poſſeſſio̅ thereof ſhalbe the Prieſtes.
22.If a man alſo dedicate vnto the Lord a field which he hathe boght, which is not of the grounde of his inheritance,
23.The̅ the Prieſt ſhal ſet the price to him, as * thou eſtemeſt it, vnto the yere of Iubile, and he ſhal giue m thy price the ſame day, as a thing holy vnto the Lord.
24.But in the yere of Iubile, the field ſhal returne vnto him, of whome it was boght: to him, I ſay, whoſe inheritãce ỹ land was.
25.And all thy valuacion ſhalbe according to the ſhekel of * the Sanctuarie: a ſhekel conteineth twenty gerahs.
26.* Notwithſtanding the firſt borne of beaſtes, becauſe it is the Lords firſt borne, none ſhal dedicate ſuche, be it bullocke, or ſhepe: for it is the n Lords.
27.But if it be an vncleane beaſt, then he ſhal redeme it by thy valuacion, and giue the fift parte more thereto: & if it be not redemed, then it ſhal be ſolde, according to thy eſtimacion.
28.* Notwithſtanding, nothing ſeparate frõ the cómune vſe that a man doeth ſeparate vnto the Lord of all that he hathe (whether it be man or beaſt, or land of his inheritance) may be ſolde nor redemed: for euerie thing ſeperate from the cómune vſe is moſte holy vnto the Lord.
29.Nothing ſeparate from the cómune vſe, which ſhalbe ſeparate frõ man, ſhal be redemed, but o dye the death.
30.Alſo all the tithe of the land bothe of the ſede of the ground, and of the frute of the trees is the Lords: it is holy to the Lord.
31.But if a man wil redeme anie of his tithe, he ſhal adde the p fift parte thereto.
32.And euerie tithe of bullocke, and of ſhepe, and of all that goeth vnder the q rod, the tenth ſhalbe holy vnto the Lord.
33.He ſhal not loke if it be good or bad, neither ſhal he change it: els if he change it, bothe it, and that it was changed withall, ſhalbe holy, and it ſhal not be redemed.
34.Theſe are the cómandements which the Lord cõmãded by Moſés vnto the children of Iſraél in mount Sinái.
