Leviticus 22

2 Who oght to abſteine from eating the things that were offred 19 What oblacions ſhulde be offred.
1.ANd the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto Aarón, and to his ſonnes, that they be a ſeparated from the holy things of the children of Iſraél, and that they pollute not mine holy Name in thoſe things, which they halowe vnto me: I am the Lord.
3.Say vnto them, Whoſoeuer b be of all your ſede among your generacions after you, that toucheth the holy things which the childré of Iſraél halowe vnto ȳ Lord, hauing his vnclennes vpon him, that perſone ſhal be cut of from my ſight: I am the Lord.
4.* Whoſoeuer alſo of ȳ ſede of Aarón is a leper, or hathe a rūning iſſue, he ſhal not eat of the holy things vntil he be cleane: and c whoſo toucheth anie that is vncleane by reaſon of the dead, or a man whoſe iſſue of ſede runneth from him,
5.Or the man that toucheth anie creping thing, whereby he may be made vncleane, or a man, by whome he may take vnclennes, d whatſoeuer vnclennes he hathe,
6.The perſone that hathe touched ſuche, ſhal therefore be vncleane vntil the " euen, and ſhal not eat of the holy things, excepte he haue waſhed his fleſh with water.
7.But when the ſunne is downe, he ſhal be cleane, and ſhal afterward eat of the holy things: for it is his " fode.
8.* Of a beaſt that dyeth, or is rent with beaſts, whereby he may be defiled, he ſhal not eat: I am the Lord.
9.Let them kepe therefore mine ordinance, leſt they beare their ſinne for it, and dye for it, if they defile it: I the Lord sanctifie them.
10.There ſhal no e ſtranger alſo eat of the holy thing, nether the geſt of the Prieſt, nether ſhal an hired ſeruant eat of the holy thing:
11.But if the Prieſt bie anie f with money, he ſhal eat of it, alſo he that is borne in his houſe: they ſhal eat of his meat.
12.If the Prieſts daughter alſo be maried vnto a g ſtranger, ſhe may not eat of the holy offrings.
13.Notwithſtanding if the Prieſts daughter be a widow or diuorced, and haue no childe, but is returned vnto her fathers houſe, ſhe ſhal eat of her fathers bread, as ſhe did in her * youth: but there ſhal no ſtranger eat thereof.
14.¶If a man eat of the holy thing vnwittingly, he ſhal put the h fifte parte thereunto, and giue it vnto the Prieſt with the halowed thing.
15.So they ſhal not defile the holy things of the children of Iſraél, which they offer vnto the Lord.
16.Nether cauſe the people to beare the iniquitie of their i treſpas, while they eat their holy thing: for I ȳ Lord do halow them.
17.¶And ȳ Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
18.Speake vnto Aarón, and to his ſonnes, and to all the children of Iſraél, and ſay vnto them, Whoſoeuer he be of the houſe of Iſraél, or of the ſtrangers in Iſraél, that wil offer his ſacrifice for all their vowes, and for all their fre offrings, w̄ they vſe to offer vnto the Lord for a burnt offring,
19.Ye ſhal offer of your fre minde a male without blemiſh of the beues, of the ſhepe, or of the goates.
20.Ye ſhal not offer anie thing ȳ hath a blemiſh: for ȳ ſhal not be acceptable for you.
21.* And whoſoeuer bringeth a peace offring vnto the Lord to accompliſh his vow, or for a fre offring, of the beues, or of ȳ ſhepe, his offring ſhal be perfect, no blemiſh ſhalbe in it.
22.Blinde, or broken, or maimed, or hauing a " wenne, or ſkuruie, or ſkabbed: theſe ſhal ye not offer vnto the Lord nor make an offring by fire of theſe vpon the altar of the Lord.
23.Yet a bullocke, or a ſhepe that hathe anie * mēbre ſuperfluous, or lackig, ſuche maieſt thou preſent for a fre offring, but for a vowe it ſhal not be accepted.
24.Ye ſhal not offer vnto ȳ Lord that which is bruiſed or cruſhed, or broken, or cut away, nether ſhal ye make an offring thereof in your land,
25.Nether k of the hand of a ſtrāger ſhal ye offer the bread of your God of anie of theſe, becauſe their corruption is in them, there is a blemiſh in thē: therefore ſhal they not be accepted for you.
26.¶And ȳ Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
27.Whē a bullocke, or a ſhepe, or a goat ſhal be broght forthe, it ſhalbe euē ſeuē daies vnder his damme: and from the eight day forthe, it ſhalbe accepted for a ſacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord.
28.As for the cowe or the ewe, ye ſhal not * kil her, and her yong one in one day.
29.So when ye wil offer a thankeoffring vnto the Lord, ye ſhal offer willingly.
30.The ſame day it ſhal be eaten, ye ſhal leaue * none of it vntil the morowe: I am the Lord.
31.Therefore ſhal ye kepe my commandements and do them: for I am the Lord.
32.Nether ſhal ye l pollute mine holy Name, but I wil be halowed among the children of Iſraél I the Lord ſanctifie you,
33.Which haue broght you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.
