1.FVrthermore the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, after the death of the two ſonnes of Aarón, when thei came to offer before the Lord, and dyed:
2.And the Lord ſaid vnto Moſés, Speake vnto Aarón thy brother, that he come not at all times in to the Holy place within the vaile, before the Merciſeat, which is vpon the Arke, that he dye not: for I wil appeare in the cloude vpon the Merciſeat.
3.After this ſort ſhal Aarón come into the Holy place: euen with a yong bullocke for a ſinne offring, and a ram for a burnt offring.
4.He ſhal put on the holy linen coat, and ſhal haue linen breches vpon his fleſh, and ſhalbe girded with a linen girdel, and ſhal couer his head with a linen mitre: theſe are the holy garments: therefore ſhal he waſh his fleſh in water, when he doeth put them on.
5.And he ſhal take of the Congregacion of the children of Iſraél, two he goates for a ſinne offring, and a ram for a burnt offring.
6.Then Aarón ſhal offer the bullocke for his ſinne offring, & make an atonement for him ſelfe, and for his houſe.
7.And he ſhal take the two he goates, and preſent them before the Lord at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion.
8.Then Aarón ſhal caſt lots ouer the two he goates: one lot for the Lord, and the other for the Scape goat.
9.And Aarón ſhal offer the goat, vpon which the Lords lot ſhal fall, and make him a ſinne offring.
10.But the goat, on which the lot ſhal fall to be the Scape goat, ſhalbe preſented aliue before the Lord, to make reconciliacion by him, & to let him go (as a Scape goat) into the wildernes.
11.Thus Aaron ſhal offer the bullocke for his ſinne offring, & make a reconciliacion for himſelfe, and for his houſe, and ſhal kill the bullocke for his ſinne offring.
12.And he ſhal take a cenſer ful of burning coles from of the Altar before the Lord, & his handful of ſwete incens beate ſmall, and bring it within the vaile;
13.And ſhal put the incens vpon the fire before the Lord, that the cloude of the incens may couer the Merciſeat that is vpon the Teſtimonie: ſo he ſhal not dye.
14.And he ſhal take of the blood of the bullocke, and ſprinkle it with his finger vpon the Merciſeat Eaſtward: and before the Merciſeat ſhal he ſprinkle of the blood with his finger ſeuen times.
15.¶ Then ſhal he kil the goat that is the peoples ſinne offring, & bring his blood within the vaile, and do with that blood, as he did with the blood of the bullocke, & ſprinkle it vpon the Merciſeat, and before the Merciſeat.
16.So he ſhal purge the Holy place from the vnclennes of the children of Iſraél, & from their treſpaſſes of all their ſinnes: ſo ſhal he do alſo for the Tabernacle of the Congregacion placed with them, in the middes of their vnclennes.
17.And there ſhal be no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, when he goeth in to make an atonemét in the Holy place, vntil he come out, & haue made an atonement for him ſelfe, & for his houſholde, and for all the Congregacion of Iſraél.
18.After, he ſhal go out vnto the Altar that is before the Lord, & make a reconciliacion vpon it, & ſhal take of the blood of the bullocke, and of the blood of the goat, and put it vpon the hornes of the Altar round about:
19.So ſhal he ſprinkle of the blood vpon it with his finger ſeuen times, and clenſe it, and halowe it from the vnclennes of the children of Iſraél.
20.¶ Whe he hathe made an éd of purging the Holy place, & the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, and the altar, then he ſhal bring the liue goat:
21.And Aarón ſhal put bothe his hands vpó the head of the liue goat, and confeſſe ouer him all the iniquities of the childré of Iſraél, & all their treſpaſſes, in all their ſinnes, putting the vpó the head of the goat, and ſhal ſend him away (by the hand of a man appointed) into the wildernes.
22.So the goat ſhal beare vpon him all their iniquities into the land that is not inhabited, and he ſhal let the goat go into the wildernes.
23.After, Aaron ſhal come into the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, and put of the linen clothes, which he put on whé he went into ŷ Holy place, & leaue thé there.
24.He ſhal waſh alſo his fleſh with water in the Holy place, and put on his owne raiment, and come out, and make his burnt offring, and the burnt offring of the people, and make an atonement for him ſelf, and for the people.
25.Alſo the fat of the ſinne offring ſhal he burne vpon the Altar.
26.And he that caried forthe the goat, called the Scape goat, ſhal waſh his clothes, and waſh his fleſh in water, and after that ſhal come into the hoſte.
27.Alſo the bullocke for the ſinne offring, and the goat for the ſinne offring (whoſe blood was broght to make a recóciliació in ŷ Holy place) ſhal one cary out without the hoſte to be burnt in the fire, with their ſkins, and with their fleſh, and with their doung.
28.And he that burneth them ſhal waſh his clothes, and waſh his fleſh in water, and afterwarde come into the hoſte.
29.¶ So this ſhalbe an ordinance for euer vnto you: the tenth day of the ſeuenth moneth, ye ſhal humble your ſoules, and do no worke at all, whether it be one of yͤ ſame countrey, or a ſtranger that ſoiourneth among you.
30.For yt day ſhal the Prieſt make an atonemét for you to cléſe you: ye ſhal be cleane from all your ſinnes before the Lord.
31.This ſhalbe a Sabbath of reſt vnto you, and ye ſhal humble your ſoules, by an ordinance for euer.
32.And the Prieſt whome he ſhal anoint, and whome he ſhal cóſecrate (to miniſter in his fathers ſtede) ſhal make the atonement, and ſhal put on the linen clothes & holy veſtments,
33.And ſhal purge the holy Sanctuarie and the Tabernacle of the Congregacion, & ſhal clenſe the Altar, & make an atonemét for the Prieſts and for all the people of the Congregacion.
34.And this ſhalbe an euerlaſting ordináce vnto you, to make an atonement for the childré of Iſraél for all their ſonnes once a yere: and as the Lord cómanded Moſés, he did.
