Leviticus 1

2 Of burnt offrings for particular perſons. 3. 10. & 14 The maner to offre burnt offrings aſwel of bulloks, as of ſhepe and birdes.
1.NOw the a Lord called Moſés, and ſpake vnto him out of the Tabernacle of the Cógregacion, ſaying,
2.Speake vnto the childrē of Iſraél, & thou ſhalt ſay vnto thē, If anie of you offer a ſacrifice vnto the Lord, ye ſhal offer your ſacrifice of b cattel, as of bēues and of the ſhepe.
3.If his ſacrifice be a burnt offring of the herde, he ſhal offer a male without blemiſh, preſenting him of his owne voluntary wil at the dore of the c Tabernacle of the Congregacion before the Lord.
4.And he ſhal put his hand vpon the head of the burnt offring and it ſhalbe accepted " to the Lord, to be his atonement.
5.And d he ſhal kil the bullocke before the Lord, and the Prieſtes Aarons ſonnes ſhal offer the blood, and ſhal ſprinkle it round about vpon the e altar, that is by the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion.
6.Then ſhal he fley the burnt offring and cut it in pieces.
7.So the ſonnes of Aarón the Prieſt ſhal put fire vpon the altar, and lay the wood in ordre vpon the fire.
8.Then the Prieſtes Aarons ſonnes ſhal lay the partes in ordre, the head and the " kall vpon the wood that is in the fire which is vpon the altar.
9.But the inwardes thereof and the legs thereof he ſhal waſh in water, and the Prieſt ſhal burne all on the altar: for it is a burnt offring, an oblatiō made by fire, for a ſwete ſauour f vnto the Lord.
10.¶And if his ſacrifice for ỹ burnt offrig g be of the flockes (as of the ſhepe, or of ỹ goates) he ſhal offer a male without blemiſh,
11.And he ſhal kil it on the Northſide of the altar h before the Lord, & the Prieſtes Aarons ſonnes ſhal ſprinkle the blood thereof round about vpon the Altar.
12.And he ſhal cut it in " pieces, ſeparating his head and his " kall, and the Prieſt ſhal lay them in ordre vpo the wood that lieth in the fire which is on the altar:
13.But he ſhal waſh the inwardes, and the legs with water, and the Prieſt ſhal offer the whole & burne it vpon the altar: for it is a burnt offring, an oblatiō made by fire for a ſwete ſauoure vnto the Lord.
14.¶And if his ſacrifice be a burnt offring to the Lord of the foules, thē he ſhal offer his ſacrifice of the turtle doues, or of the yong pigeons.
15.And the Prieſt ſhal bring it vnto the altar, and i wring the necke of it a ſunder, and burne it on the altar: and the blood thereof ſhal be " ſhed vpon the ſide of the altar.
16.And he ſhal plucke out his mawe w̃ his fethers, and caſt them beſide the altar on the k Eaſtparte in the place of the aſhes.
17.And he ſhal cleaue it with his wings, but not deuide it a ſundre: and the Prieſt ſhal burne it vpon the altar vpon the wood that is in ỹ fire: for it is a burnt offring, an oblatiō made by fire for a ſwete ſauour vnto the Lord.
