The deſtruction that ſhal come on mount Seir, becauſe thei troubled the people of the Lord.
.MOreouer the worde of the Lord came vnto me, ſaying,
.And ſaie vnto it, Thus ſaith the Lord God, Beholde, ô mount Seír, I come againſt thee, and I wil ſtretche out mine hand againſt thee, and I wil make thee deſolate and waſte.
.I wil laie thy cities waſte, and thou ſhalt be deſolate, and thou ſhalt knowe that I am the Lord.
.Thus wil I make mount Seír deſolate and waſte, and cut of from it him that paſſeth out and him that returneth.
.And I wil fil his mountaines with his ſlaine men: in thine hils, and in thy valleis and in all thy riuers ſhal thei fall, that are ſlaine with the ſworde.
.And thou ſhalt knowe, that I the Lord haue heard all thy blaſphemies which thou haſt ſpoken againſt the mountaines of Iſraél, ſaying, Thei lye waſte, thei are giuen vs to be deuoured.
.Thus with your mouthes ye haue boaſted againſt me, and haue multiplied your wordes againſt me: I haue heard them.
.Thus ſaith the Lord God, So ſhal all the worlde reioyce when I ſhal make thee deſolate.
.As thou dideſt reioyce at the inheritance of the houſe of Iſraél, becauſe it was deſolate, ſo wil I do vnto thee: thou ſhalt be deſolate, ô mount Seir, & all Idumea wholly, and thei ſhal knowe, that I am the Lord.
