Exodus 6

3 God renueth his promes of the deliuerance of the Iſraelites 9 Moſés ſpeaketh to the Iſraelites, but they beleue him not. 10 Moſés and Aarón are ſent againe to Pharaoh 14 The genealogie of Reuben, Simeón, and Leui, of whome came Moſés and Aarón.
1.THē the Lord ſaid vnto Moſés, Now ſhalt thou ſe, what I wil do vnto Pharaoh: for by a ſtrong hand ſhal he let them go, and euen " be conſtreined to driue thē out of his land.
2.Moreouer God ſpake vnto Moſés, and ſaid vnto him, I am the Lord,
3.And I appeared vnto Abrahám, to Izhák, and to Iaakób by the Name of " Almightie God: but by my Name a Iehouáh was I not knowen vnto them.
4.Furthermore as I made my couenāt with them to giue them the land of Canáan, the lād of their pilgremage, wherein they were ſtrangers:
5.So I haue alſo heard the groning of the children of Iſraél, whome the Egyptians kepe in bondage, & haue remembred my couenant.
6.Wherefore ſay thou vnto the childrē of Iſraél, I am the Lord, and I wil bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians, and wil deliuer you out of their bondage, and wil redeme you in a ſtretched out ar-me, and in great iudgementes.
7.Alſo I wil b take you for my people, and wil be your God: then ye ſhal knowe yͤ I the Lord your God bring you out from yͤ burdens of the Egyptians,
8.And I wil bring you into the land which I " ſware that I wolde giue to Abrahám, to Izhák and to Iaakób, and I wil giue it vnto you for a poſſeſſion: I am the Lord.
9.So Moſés tolde the children of Iſraél thus: but thei hearkened c not vnto Moſés, for anguiſh of ſpirit & for cruel bōdage.
10.Then the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying,
11.Go ſpeake to Pharaóh King of Egypt, that he let the children of Iſraél go out of his land.
12.But Moſés ſpake before yͤ Lord, ſaying, Beholde, the children of Iſraél hearken not vnto me, how then ſhal Pharaóh heare me, which am of " vncircumciſed lippes?
13.Then the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés and vn to Aarón, & charged them to go to the chil dren of Iſraél and to Pharaóh King of E-gypt, to bring the children of Iſraél out of the land of Egypt.
14.¶ Theſe be the e heades of their fathers houſes: the ſonnes of Reubén the firſt bor-ne of Iſraél are Hanóch and Pallú, Hez-rón and Carmí: theſe are the families of Reubén.
15.Alſo the ſonnes of Simeón: Iemuél & Iamín, & Ohád, and Iachín, & Zóar, and Shaúl the ſonne of a Canaanitiſh womā: theſe are the families of Simeón.
16.¶ Theſe alſo are the names of the ſonnes of Leuí in their generacions: Gerſhón & Koháth and Merarí (and the yeres of the life of Leuí were an hundreth f thirty and ſeuen yere)
17.The ſonnes of Gerſhón were Libní & Shimí by their families.
18.And the ſonnes of Koháth, Amrám and Izhár, & Hebrón and Vzziél. (& Koháth liued an hundreth thirty and thre yere)
19.Alſo the ſonnes of Merarí were Mahalí and Muſhí: theſe are the families of Leuí by their kinreds.
20.And Amrám toke Iochébed his g fathers ſiſter to his wife, and ſhe bare him Aarón and Moſés (and Amrám liued and hun-dreth thirty and ſeuen yere)
21.¶ Alſo the ſonnes of Izhár: h Kórah, & Népheg, and Zichrí.
22.And the ſonnes of Vzziél: Miſhaél, and Elzaphán, and Sithrí.
23.And Aarón toke Eliſhéba daughter of i Amminadáb, ſiſter of Nahaſhón to his wife, which bare him Nadáb, and Abihú, Eleazár and Ithamár.
24.Alſo the ſonnes of Kórah: Aſſír, & El-kanáh, & Abiaſáph: theſe are the families of the Korhites.
25.And Eleazár Aarons ſonne toke him one of the daughters of Putiél to his wife, which bare him * Phinehás: theſe are the principal fathers of the Leuites through out their families.
26.Theſe are Aarón and Moſés to whome the Lord ſaid, Bring the childrē of Iſraél out of the land of Egypt, according to their k armies.
27.Theſe are yͤ Moſés & Aarón, wͤ ſpake to Pharaóh King of Egypt, that they might bring the childrē of Iſraél out of Egypt.
28.¶ And at that time when the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés in the land of Egypt,
29.When the Lord, I ſay, ſpake vnto Moſés, ſaying, I am the Lord, ſpeake thou vnto Pharaóh the King of Egypt all that I ſay vnto thee,
30.Then Moſés ſaid before the Lord, Be-holde, I am of l vncircumciſed lippes, and how ſhal Pharaóh heare me?
