2 The Sabbath 5 The fre gifts are required. 21 The readines of the people to offer 30 Bezaleél & Aholiab are praiſed of Moſes.
1.THen Moſés aſſembled all the Congre gacion of the children of Iſraél, and ſaid vnto thẽ, Theſe are the wordes which the Lord hathe commãded, that ye ſhulde do them:
2.* Six dayes thou ſhalt worke , but the ſe- uéth day ſhal be vnto you the holy a Sab- bath of reſt vnto ye Lord : whoſoeuer do- eth anie worke therein, ſhal dye.
3.Ye ſhal kindle no fire throughout all your habitations vpon the Sabbath day.
4.¶ Againe, Moſés ſpake vnto all the Con- gregacion of ye children of Iſraél, ſaying, This is the thing which the Lord com- mandeth, ſaying,
5.Take from among you an offring vnto the Lord : whoſoeuer is of a * willing he- art, let him bring this offring to the Lord, namely golde, and ſiluer, and braſſe:
6.Alſo blewe ſilke, and purple, and ſkarlet, and fine linen, and goates heere,
7.And rams skins died red, and badgers skins with Shittím wood:
8.Alſo oyle for light, & ſpices for the ano- inting oyle, and for the ſwete incenſe,
9.And onix ſtones , and ſtones to be ſet in the Ephód, and in the breſt plate.
10.And all the wiſe b hearted among you, ſhal come & make all that the Lord hathe commanded:
11.That is, the * Tabernacle, the pauillion the- reof, & his couering, & his taches & his bo ardes, his barres, his pillers & his ſockets,
12.The Arke, and the barres thereof: the Mercíſeat, & the vaile that c couereth it,
13.The Table, and the barres of it, and all the inſtrumẽts thereof, & the ſhewe bread:
14.Alſo the Cãdelſticke of light and his in- ſtruments and his lampes with the oyle for the light:
15.* Likewiſe the Altar of perfume and his barres, and the anointing oyle, and the ſwete incenſe, and the vaile of the dore at the entring in of the Tabernacle,
16.The * Altar of burnt offring with his braſen grate, his barres and all his inſtru- ments, the Lauer and his fote,
17.The hãgings of the courte, his pillers & his ſockets, and the vaile of ye gate of the courte,
18.The pins of the Tabernacle, and ye pins of the courte with their cordes,
19.The d miniſtring garments to miniſtre in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aarón the Prieſt, and the garments of his ſonnes, that they may miniſtre in the Prieſtes office.
20.¶ Then all the Congregacion of ye chil- dren of Iſraél departed from the preſen- ce of Moſés.
21.And euerie one, whoſe hearts [”] encoura- ged him , & euerie one, whoſe ſpirit made him willing, came and broght an offring to ye Lord, for the worke of the Taberna- cle of the Congregacion, and for all his vſes, and for the holy garments.
22.Bothe men & women, as many as were fre hearted, came and broght * taches and earings , and rings, and bracelets, all were iewels of golde: and euerie one that offred an offring of golde vnto the Lord:
23.Euerie man alſo, which had blewe ſilke, and purple, & ſkarlet, and fine linen, and goats heere, and rams ſkins died red, and badgers ſkins, broght them.
24.All that offred an oblatiõ of ſiluer & of braſſe, broght ye offring vnto the Lord: & euerie one, yt [”] had Shittím wood for anie maner worke of ye miniſtraciõ, broght it.
25.And all the womẽ that were e wiſe hear- ted, did ſpin with their hãdes, and broght the ſpun worke, euẽ the blewe ſilke, and the purple, the ſkarlet, and the fine linen.
26.Likewiſe all the women, f whoſe heartes were moued with knowledge, ſpun goa- tes heere.
27.And the rulers broght onix ſtones, and ſtones to be ſet in the Ephód, and in the breſt plate:
28.Alſo ſpice, and oyle for light , and for the * anointing oyle, and for the ſwete per- fume.
29.Euerie man and woman of the childrẽ of Iſraél, whoſe hearts moued thẽ willing ly to bring for all the worke which the Lord had commãded thẽ to make g by the hãd of Moſés, broght a fre offring to ye Lord.
30.¶ Then Moſés ſaid vnto the childrẽ of Iſraél. Beholde, * ye Lord hathe called by name Bezaleél the ſonne of Vrí, the ſonne of Hur of the tribe of Iudáh,
31.And And hathe filled him " with an excellent ſpirit of wiſdome, of vnderſtanding, and of knowledge,and in all maner worke,
32.To finde out curious workes,to worke in golde,and in ſiluer,and in braſſe,
33.And in grauing ſtones to ſet thẽ, and in karuing of wood,euen to make anie maner of fine worke.
34.And he hathe put in his heart that he may teache other: bothe he,and Aholiáb ye ſonne of Ahiſamách of the tribe of Dan:
35.Them hathe he filled with wiſdome of heart to worke all maner h of conning * & broydred, & needleworke : in blewe ſilke, and in purple, in ſkarlet,and in fine linen & weauing , euen to do all maner of worke and ſubtile inuentions.
