Psalms 99

1 He commendeth the power, equity and excellencie of the kingdom of God by Christ over the Jews and Gentiles, 5 And provoketh them to magnifie the same and to serve the Lord, 6 Following the example of the ancient Fathers, Moses, Aaron, Samuel, who calling upon God, were heard in their praiers.
1.The Lord reigneth, let the apeople tremble: he sitteth between the *Cherubims, let the earth be moved.
2.The Lord is great in Zión, and he is high above all the people.
3.They shal bpraise thy great and fearful Name (for it is holie)
4.And the King’s power, that loveth judgement: for thou hast prepared equity: thou hast executed judgement & justice in Jaakób.
5.Exalt the Lord our God: and fall down before his cfotestole: for his is holie.
6.Mosés and Aarón were among his Priests, dand Samuél among such as call upon his Name: these called upon the Lord, and he heard them.
7.He spake unto them in the cloudie piller: they kept his testimonies, and the Law that he gave them.
8.Thou heardest them, ô Lord our God: thou wast a favourable God unto them, though thou didest take vengeance for etheir inventions.
9.Exalt the Lord our God, and fall down before his holie Mountain: for the Lord our God is holie. 96 Book 5 Psalms

When God delivers his Church, all the enemies shall have cause to tremble.

Though the wicked rage against God, yet the godly shall praise his Name, and mighty power.
5-c.
That is, before his Temple or Ark, where he promised to hear, when they worshipped him, as now he promises his spiritual presence, wheresoever his Church is assembled.
6-d.
Under these three he comprehends the whole people of Israel, with whom God made his promise.
8-e.
For the more liberally that God deals with his people, the more does he punish them that abuse his benefits.
