1 David charged with ambition and greedy desire to reign, protesteth his humility and modesty before God, and teacheth all men, what they should do.

Lord,
a
mine heart is not hawtie, neither are mine eyes lofty, neither have I walked in great

matters and hid from me.
2.
Surely I have behaved my self, like one weaned from his mother, and kept silence: I am in my self as one that is

weaned.
3.
Let Israél wait on the Lord from hence forth and for ever.
