Psalms 131

1 David charged with ambition and greedy desire to reign, protesteth his humility and modesty before God, and teacheth all men, what they should do.
¶ A song of degrees or Psalme of David.
1.Lord, amine heart is not hawtie, neither are mine eyes lofty, neither have I walked in great bmatters and hid from me.
2.Surely I have behaved my self, like one weaned from his mother, and kept silence: I am in my self as one that is cweaned.
3.Let Israél wait on the Lord from hence forth and for ever.
