2 Chronicles 19

4 After Iehoshaphat was rebuked by the Prophet, he called againe the people to the honoring of the Lord. 5 He appointeth iudges and ministers. 9 And exhorteth them to feare God.
1.ANd Iehoſhaphat the King of Iudah returned ſafe to his houſe in Ieruſalém.
2.And Iehú ye ſonne of Hanáni the Seer wēt out to mete him, and ſaid to King Iehoſhaphát, Woldeſt thou helpe the wicked, and loue them that hate the Lord? therfore for this thing ye wrath of the Lord is vpon thee.
3.Neuertheles good things are founde in thee, becauſe thou haſt takē away the groues out of the land, and haſt prepared thine heart to ſeke God.
4.¶ 4 So Iehoſhaphát dwelt at Ieruſalém, & returned and went through the people from Beer-ſhebá to mount Ephráim, and broght them againe vnto the Lord God of their fathers.
5.And he ſet iudges in the land throughout all the ſtrong cities of Iudáh, citie by citie,
6.And ſaid to the iudges, Take hede what ye do: for ye execute not the iudgements of man, but of the Lord, & he wilbe with you in the cauſe and iudgement.
7.Wherefore now let the feare of ye Lord be vpon you: take hede, & do it: for there is no iniquitie with the Lord our God, nether reſpect of perſones, nor receiuing of rewarde.
8.Moreouer in Ieruſalém did Iehoſhaphát ſet of the Leuites, and of the Prieſts and of the chief of the families of Iſraél, for the iudgement and cauſe of the Lord: and they returned to Ieruſalém.
9.And he charged them, ſaying, Thus ſhal ye do in the feare of the Lord faithfully and with a perfite heart.
10.And in euerie cauſe that ſhal come to you of your brethren that dwel in their cities, betwene blood and blood, betwene lawe and precept, ſtatutes and iudgemēts, ye ſhal iudge them, and admoniſh them that they treſpaſſe not againſt the Lord, that wrath come not vpon you and vpō your brethrē. Thus ſhal ye do & treſpaſſe not.
11.And beholde, Amariáh the Prieſt ſhalbe ye chief ouer you in all matters of the Lord, & Zebadiáh the ſonne of Iſhmaél, a ruler of the houſe of Iudáh, ſhalbe for all the Kings affaires, & the Leuites ſhalbe officers before you. Be of courage, and do it, and the Lord ſhalbe with the good.

He declareth that the wrath and iudgement of God is ouer all ſuche, that ſupporte the wicked, and rather ſhewe not in dede yt they are enemies to all ſuche as hate ye Lord.
