1 The Arke being placed, they offer ſacrifices. 4 Dauid ordeineth Aſáph and his brethren to miniſter before the Lord. 8 He appointeth a notable Pſalme to be ſung in praiſe of the Lord.
3.And he dealt to euerie one of Iſraél bothe man and woman, to euerie one a cake of bread, and a piece of fleſh, and a bottel of wine.
5.Aſáph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Ieiél, and Shemiramóth, and Iehiél, and Mattithiáh, and Eliáb, and Benaiáh, & Obéd Edóm, euen Ieiél with inſtruments, violes and harpes, and Aſáph to make a ſounde with cymbales,
6.And Benaiáh and Iahaziél Prieſts, with trumpets continually before the Arke of the couenant of God.
10.Reioyce in his holy Name: let the hearts of them that ſeke the Lord reioyce.
11.Seke the Lord and his ſtrength: ſeke his face continually.
14.He is the Lord our God: his iudgemēts are throughout all the earth.
15.Remember his couenant for euer, & the worde, which he commanded to a thouſand generacions:
17.And hathe confirmed it to Iaakób for a Lawe, & to Iſraél for an euerlaſting couenant,
20.And walked about from nacion to nacion, and from one kingdome to another people,
24.Declare his glorie among the nacions, and his wonderful workes among all people.
25.For the Lord is great and muche to be praiſed, and he is to be feared aboue all gods.
27.Praiſe and glorie are before him: power and beautie are in his place.
28.Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glorie and power.
29.Giue vnto the Lord the glorie of his Name: bring an offring and come before him, & worſhip the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.
32.Let the ſea roare, and all that therein is: let the field be ioyful and all that is in it.
34.Praiſe the Lord, for he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.
37.¶ Then he left there before the Arke of the Lords couenant Aſáph and his brethren to miniſter continually before the Arke, that which was to be done euerie day:
38.And Obéd Edóm and his brethren, thre ſcore and eight: and Obéd Edóm the ſonne of Ieduthún, and Hoſáh were porters.
39.And Zadók the Prieſt and his brethren the Prieſts were before the Tabernacle of the Lord, in the hie place that was at Gibeón,
40.To offer burnt offrings vnto the Lord, vpon the burnt offring altar continually, in the morning and in the euening, euen according vnto all that is writen in the Lawe of the Lord, which he commanded Iſraél.
42.Euen with them were Hemán and Ieduthún to make a ſounde with the cornets & with the cymbales, with excellent inſtruments of muſike: and the ſonnes of Ieduthún were at the gate.
