1 The buylding of the Temple and the forme thereof. 12 The promes of the Lord to Salomon.
2.And the houſe which Kīg Salomón buylt for the Lord, was thre ſcore cubites long, & twentie broade, and thirty cubites hie.
7.And whe the houſe was buylt, it was buylt of ſtone perfit, before it was broght, ſo that there was nether hammer, nor axe, nor any toole of yron heard in the houſe, while it was in buylding.
10.And he buylt the galleries vpon all the wall of the houſe of fiue cubites height, & they were ioyned to the houſe with beames of cedar.
11.And the worde of the Lord came to Salomón, ſaying,
13.And I wil dwel among the children of Iſraél, and wil not forſake my people Iſraél.
14.So Salomón buylt the houſe and finiſhed it,
16.And he buylt twentie cubites in the ſides of the houſe with bordes of cedre, frõ the floore to the walles, and he prepared a place within it for ye oracle, euen the moſte holy place.
20.And the place of the oracle within was twentie cubites long, and twentie cubites broad, and twentie cubites hie, and he couered it with pure golde, and couered the altar with cedre.
24.The wing alſo of the one Cherúb was fiue cubites,& the wing of the other Cherúb was fiue cubites : from the vttermoſt parte of one of his wings vnto the vttermoſt parte of the other of his wings, were ten cubites.
25.Alſo the other Cherúb was of ten cubites:bothe ye Cherubíms were of one meaſure and one ſyſe.
26.For the height of the one Cherúb was ten cubites, and ſo was the other Cherúb.
29.And he carued all the walles of ye houſe round about with grauen figures of Cherubíms and of palme trees, and grauen flowres within and without.
30.And the floore of the houſe he couered with golde within and without.
31.An in the entring of the oracle he made two dores of oliue tre: and the vpper poſte & ſide poſtes were fiue ſquare.
33.And ſo made he for the dore of the Temple poſtes of oliue tre foure ſquare.
35.And he graued Cherubíms, and palme trees and carued flowres and couered the carued wórke with golde, finely wroght.
36.¶ And he buylt the court within with thre rowes of hewed ſtone, and one rowe of beames of cedár.
37.In the fourth yere was the fundacion of the houſe of the Lord laied in the mo- neth of Zif:
