.3 And take " with b thee ten loaues and craknels, and a bottel of hony, and go to him: he ſhal tel thee what ſhal become of the yong man.
.4 And Ieroboams wife did ſo, and aroſe, & went to Shilóh, and came to the houſe of Ahiiáh: but Ahiiáh colde not ſe, for his " ſight was decayed for his age.
.5 The Lord ſaid vnto Ahiiáh, Beholde, the wife of Ieroboám commeth to aſke a thing of thee for her ſonne, for he is ſicke: thus and thus ſhalt thou ſay vnto her: for when ſhe commeth in, ſhe ſhal feine her ſelfe to be c another.
.6 Therefore when Ahiiáh heard the ſound of her fete as ſhe came in at the dore, he ſaid, Come in, thou d wife of Ieroboám: why feineſt yu thus thy ſelfe to be another? I am ſent to thee with heauy tidings.
.7 Go, Go, tel Ieroboám, Thus ſaith the Lord God of Iſraél, Foraſmuche as I haue ex-alted e thee from among the people, and haue made thee prince ouer my people Iſraél,
.And haue rent the kingdome away from the houſe of Dauid, and haue giuẽ it thee, and thou haſt not bene as my ſeruant Da-uid, which kept my commandements, and followed me with all his heart, and did onely that which was right in mines eyes,
.But haſt done euil aboue all that were before thee (for thou haſt gone and made thee other gods, and f molten images, to prouoke me, and haſt caſt me behinde thy backe)

.And Iudáh wroght wickednes in the ſight of the Lord: & they prouoked him more wt their ſinnes, which thei had com-mitted, " then all that which their fathers had done.
.For they alſo made them hie places, and images, and groues on euery hye hil, and vnder euerie grene tre.
.There were alſo Sodomites q in ye land, they did according to all the abomina-cions of the nacions, which the Lord had caſt out before the children of Iſraél.

.And toke the treaſures of the houſe of ye Lord, & the treaſures of the Kings houſe, and toke away all: alſo he caried away all the ſhields of golde * which Salomón had made.
.And King Rehoboám made for them braſen ſhields, and committed them vnto the hands of the chief of the garde, which waited at the dore of the Kings houſe.
.And when the King went into the houſe of the Lord, the garde bare them, and broght them againe into the garde cham-ber.
.And the reſt of ye actes of Rehoboám, & all that he did, are they not writen in the r boke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudáh?
