Timothy 2

.I exhort therefore, that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for aall men,
.For bKings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life, in all godliness and honesty.
.For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
.*Who will that call men shalbe saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth.
.For there is one God, and one dMediator between God and man, which is the eman Christ Jesus,
.Who gave him self a fransome for all gmen, to be a htestimony in due time,
.*Whereunto I am ordained a preacher and an Apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not) even a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
.I will therefore that the men pray, every where lifting up ipure hands without wrath, or doubting.
.*Likewise also the women, that they array them selves in comely apparel, with shamefastness and modesty, not with kbroyded hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly apparel,
.But (as becometh women that profess the fear of God) with good works.
.Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
.I permit not a woman to lteach, neither to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
.For *Adam was first formed, then Eve.
.*And Adam was mnot deceived, but the woman was deceived, and was in the ntransgression.
.Notwithstanding, through bearing of children she shalbe saved if ^they continue in faith, & love, & holiness with modesty.
