2 The ordre of the tents, and the names of the captaines of the Israelites.
1.ANd the Lord ſpake vnto Moſés, & to Aarón, ſaying,
2.a Euerie man of the childrē of Iſraél ſhal campe by his ſtanderd, and vnder the enſigne " of their fathers houſe: farre of about the Tabernacle of the Congregació ſhal thei pitch.
3.On the Eaſtſide towarde the riſing of the ſunne, ſhal thei of the ſtanderd of the hoſte of Iudáh pitch according to their armies: & Nahſhón the ſonne of Amminadáb ſhalbe captaine of the ſonnes of Iudáh.
4.And his hoſte and the nomber of them were ſeuenty and foure thouſand and ſix hundreth.
5.Next vnto him ſhal thei of the tribe b of Iſſachár pitch, and Nethaneél the ſonne of Zuár ſhalbe the captaine of the ſonnes of Iſſachár:
6.And his hoſte, and the number thereof were foure and fiftie thouſand, and foure hundreth.
7.Then the tribe of Zebulún, and Eliáb the ſonne of Helón, captaine ouer the ſonnes of Zebulún:
8.And his hoſte, and the nomber thereof feuen and fiftie thouſand and foure hundreth:
9.The whole nomber of the c hoſte of Iudáh are an hundreth foure ſcore and ſix thouſand, & foure hundreth according to their armies: thei ſhal firſt ſet forthe.
10.¶On the Southſide ſhalbe the ſtáderd of the hoſte d of Reubén according to their armies, & the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Reubén ſhalbe Elizúr the ſonne of Shedeúr.
11.And his hoſte, and the number thereóf ſix and fourtie thouſand & fiue hundreth.
12.And by him ſhal the tribe of Simeón pitch, and the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Simeón ſhalbe Shelumiél the ſonne of Zuriſhaddái:
13.And his hoſte, and the number of them, nine and fiftie thouſand & thre hundreth.
14.And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Gad ſhalbe Eliaſáph the ſonne of || Deuél:
15.And his hoſte and the number of them were fiue and fourtie thouſand, ſix hūdreth and fiftie.
16.All the number of the campe of Reubén were an hundreth and one and fiftie thouſand, & foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and thei ſhal ſet forthe in the ſeconde place.
17.¶Then the Tabernacle of the Congregacion ſhal go with the hoſte of ye Leuites, in the e middes of the campe as thei haue pitched, ſo ſhal thei go forwarde, euerie man in his ordre according to their ſtanderds.
18.¶The f ſtáderd of the cápe of Ephráim ſhalbe toward the Weſt accordīg to their armies: and the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Ephráim ſhalbe Eliſhamá the ſonne of Ammihúd:
19.And his hoſte and the number of them were fourtie thouſand and fiue hundreth.
20.And by him ſhalbe the tribe of Manaſſéh, and the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Manaſſéh ſhalbe Gamliél the ſonne of Pedahzúr:
21.And his hoſte and the number of them were two & thirtie thouſand & two hundreth.
22.And the tribe of Beniamín, & the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Beniamín ſhalbe Abidán the ſonne of Gideoni:
23.And his hoſte, and the number of them were fiue and thirtie thouſand and foure hundreth.
24.All the number of the campe of Ephráim were an hundreth and eight thouſand and one hundreth according to their armies, and thei ſhal go in the third place.
25.¶The ſtanderd of the hoſte of g Dan ſhalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan ſhalbe Ahiézer the ſonne of Ammiſhaddái:
26.And his hoſte and the number of them were two & thre ſcore thouſand and ſeuen hundreth.
27.And by him ſhal ye tribe of Aſhér pitch, and the captaine ouer the ſonnes of Aſhér ſhalbe Pagiél the ſonne of Ocrán.
28.And his hoſte and the number of them were one and fourtie thouſand and fiue hundreth:
29.¶The tribe of Naphtalí, & the captaine ouer the children of Naphtalí ſhalbe Ahirá the ſonne of Enán:
30.And his hoſte & the number of them
31.All the number of the hoſte of Dan was an hundreth and feuen and fiftie thouſand and ſix hundreth: thei ſhal go hinmoſte with their ſtanderds.
32.¶ Theſe are the h ſummes of the childrẽ of Iſraél by the houſes of their fathers, all the number of the hoſte, according to their armies, ſix hundreth and thre thouſand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.
33.But the Leuites were not nombred amõg the children of Iſraél, as the Lord had commanded Moſés.
34.And the children of Iſraél did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moſés: ſo thei pitched according to their [1] ſtanderds, and ſo thei iourneyed euerie one with his families, according to the houſes of their fathers.
