Numbers 12

1 Aarón and Miriám grudge againſt Moſés 10 Miriám is ſtriken with leproſie, and healed at the prayer of Moſés.
1.AFterward Miriám and Aarón " ſpake againſt Moſés,becauſe of the womã of Ethiopia whome he had maried (for he had maried a a woman of Ethiopia)
2.And they ſaid,What?hathe the Lord ſpoken but onely by Moſés?hathe he not ſpoken alſo by vs?and the Lord heard this.
3.(But Moſés was a very b meke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)
4.And by and by the Lord ſaid vnto Moſés, & vnto Aarón,& vnto Miriám,Come out ye thre vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregacion:and they thre came forthe.
5.Then the Lord came downe in the piller of the cloude,and ſtode in the dore of the Tabernacle,& called Aarón and Miriám, and they bothe came forthe.
6.And he ſaid,Heare now my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I wil be knowen to him by a c viſion, & wil ſpeake vnto him by dreame.
7.My ſeruãt Moſés is not ſo, who is faith-ful in d all mine houſe.
8.Vnto him wil I ſpeake * mouth to mouth, and by viſion,& not in darke wordes, but he ſhal ſe ye e ſimilitude of ye Lord. wherefore then were ye not afraied to ſpeake againſt my ſeruant,euen againſt Moſés?
9.Thus the Lord was very angry with thẽ, and departed.
10.Alſo the cloude departed from the f Tabernacle:& beholde, Miriám was leprous like ſnowe:and Aarón loked vpõ Miriám, and beholde,ſhe was leprous.
11.Then Aarón ſaid vnto Moſés, Alas, my Lord,I beſeche thee,lay not the ſinne vpõ vs,which we haue fooliſhly committed & wherein we haue ſinned.
12.Let her not,I pray thee,be as one g dead, of whome the fleſh is halfe conſumed,whẽ he commeth out of his mothers wombe.
13.Thẽ Moſés cryed vnto the Lord,ſaying, O God.I beſeche thee,heale her now.
14.¶And the Lord ſaid vnto Moſés,If her father had h ſpit in her face,ſhulde ſhe not haue bene aſhamed ſeuen dayes?let her be * ſhut out of the hoſte ſeuen dayes, & after ſhe ſhal be receiued.
15.So Miriám was ſhut out of the hoſte ſeuen dayes,and the people remoued not,til Miriám was broght in againe.
