Leviticus 8

12 The anointing of Aarón, and his ſonnes, with the ſacrifice concerning the ſame.
1.AFterwarde the Lord ſpake vnto Moſes, ſaying,
2.* Take Aarón and his ſonnes with him, & the garments and the * anointing oyle, and a bullocke for the ſin offring, and two rams, and a baſket of vnleauened bread,
3.And aſſemble all the companie at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregaciõ.
4.So Moſes did as the Lord had commanded him, and the companie was aſſembled at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Cõgregacion.
5.Then Moſes ſaid vnto the companie, * This is the thing which the Lord hathe commanded to do.
6.And Moſes broght Aarón and his ſonnes, and waſhed them with water,
7.And put vpõ him yͤ coat, & girded him with a girdel, and clothed him with the robe, and put the Ephód on him, which he girded with the broydred garde of the Ephód, & bonde it vnto him therewith.
8.After he put the breſt plate thereon, and put in the breſt plate * the Vrim and the Thummím.
9.Alſo he put the mitre vpon his head, and put vpon the mitre on the fore fronte the golden plate, and the a holy crowne, as the Lord had commanded Moſes.
10.(Now Moſes had taken the anointing oyle, & anointed the b Tabernacle, and all that was therein, and ſanctified them,
11.And ſprinkled thereof vpon the altar ſeuen times, & anointed the altar and all his inſtruments, and the lauer, and his fote, to ſanctifie them)
12.* And he powred of the anointing oyle vpon Aarons head, and anointed him, to ſanctifie him.
13.After, Moſes broght Aarons ſonnes, and put coates vpon them, and girded them with girdels, and put bonets vpon their heades, as the Lord had cõmanded Moſes.
14.* Then he broght the bullocke for the ſin offring, & Aarón & his ſonnes put their hands vpon the head of the bullocke for the ſinne offring.
15.And Moſés ſlewe him, & toke the blood, which he put vpon the hornes of the c Altar round about with his finger, and purified the Altar, and powred the reſt of the blood at the fote of the Altar: ſo he ſanctified d it, to make reconciliation vpon it.
16.Then he toke all the fat that was vpon the inwardes, and the kall of the liuer and the two kidneis, with their fat, which Moſés burned vpon the Altar.
17.But the bullocke and his e hide, and his fleſh, and his doung, he burnt with fire without the hoſte as the Lord had commanded Moſés.
18.¶ Alſo he broght the ram for the burnt offring, and Aarón & his ſonnes put their hands vpon the head of the ram.
19.So Moſés killed it, and ſprinkled the blood vpon the Altar round about,
20.And Moſés cut ye ram in pieces, & burnt the head with the pieces, and the fat,
21.And waſhed the inwardes and the legs in water: ſo Moſés burnt the ram euerie whit vpon the Altar: for it was a burnt offring for a ſwete ſauour, which was made by fire vnto the Lord, as the Lord had cómanded Moſés.
22.* After, he broght ye other ram, the ram of conſecracions, and Aarón and his ſonnes laid their háds vpon the head of the ram,
23.Which Moſés z ſlewe, and toke of the blood of it, and put it vpon the lap of Aarons right eare, and vpon the thombe of his right hand, and vpon the great toe of his right fote.
24.Then Moſés broght Aarons ſonnes, & put of the blood on the lap of their right eares, & vpon the thumbes of their right háds, & vpon the great toes of their right fete, and Moſés ſprinkled the reſt of the blood vpon the Altar round about.
25.And he toke the fat and the rumpe, and all the fat that was vpon the inwardes, & the kall of the liuer, and the two kidneis with their fat, and the right ſhulder.
26.Alſo he toke of the baſket of the vnleauened bread that was before the Lord, one vnleauened cake and a cake of oyled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and vpon the right ſhulder.
27.So he put * all in Aarons hands, and in his ſonnes hands, and ſhoke it to and fro before the Lord.
28.After, Moſés toke thé out of their háds, and burnt thé vpon the Altar for a burnt offring: for theſe were conſecracions for a ſwete ſauour which were made by fire vnto the Lord.
29.Likewiſe Moſés toke the breaſt of the ram of conſecracions and ſhoke it to and fro before the Lord: for it was Moſés * portion, as the Lord had commanded Moſés.
30.Alſo Moſés toke of the anointing oyle, and of the blood which was vpon the Altar, and ſprinkled it vpon Aarón, vpon his garments, and vpon his ſonnes, and on his ſonnes garméts with him: ſo he ſanctified Aarón, his garments, and his ſonnes, and his ſonnes garments with him.
31.¶ Afterward Moſés ſaid vnto Aarón & his ſonnes, Sethe the fleſh at the dore of the g Tabernacle of the Congregacion, and there * eat it with the bread that is in the baſket of cóſecracions, as I commanded, ſaying, Aarón and his ſonnes ſhal eat it,
32.But that which remaineth of the fleſh & of the bread, ſhal ye burne with fire.
33.And ye ſhal not departe from the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregacion ſeuen daies, vntil the daies of your conſecracions be at an end: * for ſeuen daies, ſaid the Lord, ſhal he " conſecrate you,
34.As " he hathe done this day: ſo the Lord hathe commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
35.Therefore ſhal ye abide at the dore of the Tabernacle of the Cógregacion day and night, ſeuen daies, and ſhal kepe the watch of the Lord, that ye dye not: for ſo I am commanded.
36.So Aarón and his ſonnes did all things which the Lord had commanded by the h hand of Moſés.
