Psalms 84

David driven forth of his country, 2 Desireth most ardently to come again to the Tabernacle of the Lord and the assemblie of the Saints to praise God, 4 Pronouncing them blessed that maie so do. 6 Then he praiseth the courage of the people, that pass through the wilderness to assemble them selves in Zión 10 Finally with praise of this matter and confidence of God’s goodness he endeth the Psalme.
¶ To him that excelleth upon Gittith. A Psalme committed to the sons of Kórah.
.O aLord of hostes, how amiable are thy Tabernacles!
.My soul longeth, yea, and fainteth for the bcourts of the Lord: for mine heart and my flesh rejoyce in the living God.
.Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house, and the swallow a nest for her, where she maie lay her young: even by thine caltars, ô Lord of hostes, my King and my God.
.Blessed are they that dwell in thine house: they will ever praise thee, Sélah.
.Blessed is the man, whose dstrength is in thee, and in whose heart are thy ways.
.They going through the vale of eBacá, make wells therein: the rain also covereth the pools.
.They go from fstrength to strength, till every one appear before God in Zión.
.O Lord God of hostes, hear my prayer: hearken, ô God of Jaakób, Sélah.
.Behold, ô God, our shield, and look upon the face of thine gAnointed.
.For ha daie in thy courts is better then a thousand other where, I had rather be a doorkeeper in the House of my God, then to dwell in the tabernacles of wickedness.
.For the Lord God is the sun and shield unto us: the Lord wil give grace and glory, and no igood thing wil he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
.O Lord of hostes, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
