Psalms 143

An earnest praier for remission of sinnes, acknowledging that the enemies did thus cruelly persecute him by God’s just judgement. 8 He desireth to be restored to grace, 10 To be governed by his holie Spirit, that he maie spende the remnant of his life in the true fear and service of God.
A psalme of David.
.Hear my praier, ô Lord, and hearken unto my supplication: answer me in thy atrueth and in thy brighteousnes.
.(And entre not into judgement with thy servant: for in thy csight shal none that liveth, be justified)
.For the enemie hath persecuted my soul: he hath smiten my life down to the earth: he hath laied me in the darkenes, as they that have bene dead dlong ago:
.And my spirit was in perplexity in me, and mine eheart within me was amased.
.Yet do I remember the time fpast: I meditate in all thy works, yea, I do meditate in the works of thine hands.
.I stretche forth mine hands unto thee: my soul desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. Sélah.
.Hear my spedely, ô Lord, for my spirit fealeth: hide not thy face from me, els I shalbe like unto them that go down into the pit.
.Let me hear thy loving kindenes in the gmorning, for in thee is my trust: hshewe me the waie, that I shulde walk in, for I lift up my soul unto thee.
.Deliver me, ô Lord, from mine enemies: for iI hid me with thee.
.Teach me to kdo thy wil, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit lead me unto the land of lrighteousnes.
.Quicken me, ô Lord, for thy Name’s sake, and for thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
.And for thy mercie mslay mine enemies, and destroie all them
