¶ A praier

.Hide not thy face from me in the time of my trouble: incline thine eares vnto me: when I call, make haſte to heare me.
.For the voice of my groning my bones do cleaue to my ſkin.
.I watche and am as a ſparowe alone vpõ the houſe toppe.
.My daies are like a ſhadowe that fadeth, and I am withered like graſſe.
.Then the heathen ſhal feare the Name of the Lord, & all the Kings of the earth thy glorie,
.And ſhal turne vnto the praier of the deſolate, and not deſpiſe their praier.
.For he hathe loked downe frõ the height of his Sanctuarie: out of the heauen did the Lord beholde the earth,
.That thei maie declare the Name of the Lord in Zión, and his praiſe in Ieruſalém,
.And I ſaid, O my God, take me not away in the middes of my daies: thy yeres endure from generacion to generacion.
.Thou haſt aforetime laied the fundacion of the earth, and the heauens are ye worke of thine hands.
.But thou art the ſame, and thy yeres ſhal not faile.
