1 Dauid prepareth things neceſſarie for the buylding of the Temple. 6 He cõmandeth his ſonne Salomõ to buylde the Tẽple of the Lord. 10 Which thing he him ſelfe was forbidden to do. 9 Under the figure of Salomõ Chriſt is promiſed.
4.And cedre trees without nomber: for the Zidomians and they of Tyrus broght muche cedre wood to Dauid.
5.And Dauid ſaid, Salomón my ſonne is yong and tender, and we muſt buylde an houſe for the Lord, magnifical, excellent and of great fame and dignitie throughout all countreis. I wil therefore now prepare for him. So Dauid prepared very much before his death.
6.Then he called Salomón his ſonne, and charged him to buylde an houſe for the Lord God of Iſraél.
9.Beholde, a ſonne is borne to thee, which ſhalbe a mã of reſt, for I wil giue him reſt from all his enemies round about: therefore his name is Salomón: and I wil ſend peace and quietnes vpon Iſraél in his dayes.
13.Then thou ſhalt proſper, if thou take hede to obſerue the ſtatutes and the iudgements which the Lord commanded Moſes for Iſraél: be ſtrong and of good courage: feare not, nether be afraied.
17.Dauid alſo commanded all the princes of Iſraél to helpe Salomón his ſonne, ſaying,
