1 Naamán the Syrian is healed of his leproſie. 16 Eliſha refuſeth his gifts 27 Gehazi is ſtriken with leproſie, becauſe he toke money, & raimẽs of Naamán.
6.6 And broght the letter to the King of Iſraél to this effect, Now when this letter is come vnto thee, vnderſtãd, that I haue ſent thee Naamán my ſeruãt, that thou mayeſt heale him of his leproſie.
7.7 And when the King of Iſraél had red the letter, he rent his clothes, and ſaid, Am I God, to kil and to giue life, that he doeth ſend to me, that I ſhulde heale a man from his leproſie? wherefore conſidre, I pray you, and ſe how he ſeketh a quarel againſt me.
9.9 ¶ Then Naamán came with his horſes, & with his charets, and ſtode at the dore of the houſe of Eliſhá.
10.10 And Eliſhá ſent a meſſenger vnto him, ſaying, Go and waſh thee in Iordén ſeuen times, and thy fleſh ſhal come againe to thee, and thou ſhalt be cleanſed.
12.12 Are not Abanáh and Pharpár, riuers of Damaſcus, better then all the waters of Iſraél? may I not waſh me in them, and be cleanſed? So he turned, and departed in diſpleaſure.
17.17 Moreouer Naamán ſaid, Shal there not be giuẽ to thy ſeruant two mules loade of this earth? for thy ſeruant wil henceforth offer nether burnt ſacrifice, nor offring vnto anie other god, ſaue vnto the Lord.
20.And Gehazí the ſeruant of Eliſhá the mã of God ſaid, Beholde, my maſter hathe ſpared this Aramite Naamán, receiuing nõt thoſe things at his hãd that he broght: as the Lord liueth, I wil run after him, and take ſomewhat of him.
22.And he anſwered, All is wel: my maſter hathe ſent me, ſaying, Beholde, there be come to me, euen now from mounte E-phráim two yong men of the children of the Prophetes: giue them, I pray thee, a talent of ſiluer, and two chãge of garmẽts.
23.And Naamán ſaid, Yea, take two talẽts: and he compelled him, and bounde two ta-lents of ſiluer in two bags, with two chan-ge of garments, and gaue them vnto two of his ſeruãts, that they might beare them before him.
25.¶ Then he went in, and ſtode before his maſter. And Eliſhá ſaid vnto him, Whẽce commeſt thou, Gehazí? And he ſaid, Thy ſer-uant went no whether.
